pvp & pve server question

whats the difference between 2?

PvP lets you kill each other...
PvE wont let you kill each other...

is that it?

I'm confused and asking this.. because normally PvE server in different game, also has PvP "challenge" function to duel in PvE server.

In pvp servers, once you reach a certain level you will be "flagged" and can be attacked at any time.

In pve servers, you are never "flagged" unless you accept a challenge.

There is PVP in a PVE server but it is only available if both parties
in the PK scenario agree. Where as in PVP server after you reach lvl
15 you can be killed regardless your postion or what you are doing in
the game world.
Both servers will have guild vs guild events and server vs server has
already been promised. Both servers will have PVP it's just a matter
of how you like to play. I prefer PvE because it eliminates allot of BS
with pricks your doomed to meet lol Happens in every game haha

Your secondary job lvl cannot pass your primary job lvl, and they are leveled independently of each other.

You will be able to switch between the classes to make either of them primary by talking to an NPC.

The skills you can use if you are mage/scout:
General Mage skills, Class-specific Mage skills, General Scout skills

and for scout/mage:
General Scout Skills, Class-specific Scout skills, General mage skills

as soon as you pick your second class you will have to change it to
primary to level it. ( do this in your house, get a house in logar^^) When
you first take your class, say your lvl 20 mage and you pick priest, after going to class guy in varnass you will see you are now a lvl 20 mage and
a lvl 1 priest. When you switch to your priest primary it will then say you
are a lvl 1 priest and a lvl 1 mage. As your secondary class cannot be higher
than your primary.
As you level your "priest" you will automatically gain a level back on your
mage until you pass your mages lvl of 20. At anytime during the leveling of
your 2nd class you can change back and have your primaries level back. Also
keep in mind on your secondary classes that the first page of skills will be
the only ones available to your main class so spend points wisely on your
secondary class

Nice, thanks for the clarification. I was wondering about this myself.

Not true. In CB I was able to get my rogue to level 16 while my Warrior main class was at level 10. Then I switched back and got my Warrior up to level 16 so I could use the level 16 skills of my rogue (dual weilding ability mainly.heh) So unless they changed things and didn't announce it then you can still level your second class above your main class. Which ever class you have as secondary won't gain XP though and you can't level up skills. You have to make your secondary your primary in order to do that stuff. So anyway like I said with my experience in CB I was able to switch rogue to main and leveled above my main class level. I think what happens is basically when you switch back to your main if it is lower than your secondary it automatically makes your secondary the same level so you can't use higher level skills from your secondary class until you reach the same level as your primary. I hope that didn't confuse anyone.hehe

i think he meant 2nd class will never be higher lvl than primary class.
meaning even if your 2nd class was 20 and main was 10

it can't be main lv10/2nd lv20
but main lv10/2nd lv10 (while your 2nd level is still stored in server as lv 20)

actually yes you can, i have a lvl 10 mage main class and lvl 13 priest secondary class

No, you can't. Your secondary classes current level can never be higher than your primary classes current level.

And your first class isn't neccessarily your primary class. It's just your first class. Once you have two classes, either of them can be primary depending on which one you currently have set as primary at the house maid.

So, you level up to 15/10 as a mage/scout. When you change around your class so you're a scout/mage, you will be 10/10 until you level up scout. Then you'll be 11/11. Until you level up to 16 at which point you'll be 16/15.

Necro bad. Do not do.

And no.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.
