check your titles

last night a guildie told me to check for new titles. i did, got 18 new titles. checked again got 5 more. every time i open and check now i get 3 more. 18+5+3+3+3+3+3, will it continue? anyone know?

Ya, they added another 100 titles for pretty much all the instances, all world bosses (including hints on how to spawn the ones in the lower zones.)

I got like 30 titles yesterday when I checked.

yea, noticed the boss titles, ive done most but dont have the titles for them as done, after finally catching perodia last month too 8(

If you killed the bosses before this patch you will not get the title for it, if you want the title now you must go through and kill them again because now there is an item drop to complete the quest.
When you check titles you will gain several after this patch but when you check them again it will say "obtained 3 title" but you actually aren't, some sort of bug.

I randomly get malatinas titles again after patches (not 2 of the same title - it simply forgot I already had it). It's happened twice now.

I clicked check and got 8 titles. The got another 5 when I clicked check on something else.

Well...something happened. Before the patch I was almost in the top 5 with titles. Then yesterday I was 15th and now I am in the 30s.

I got 28 titles after the patch.

You know its working correctly when the title names show up in your general history -saying the name of the title you got. So it looks like their is a new bug because when you re-check after that and you get phantom titles. it says you get them, but they dont really show up. Open a ticket if that happens to you.

There is a ton of world boss, zone boss, and instance boss titles now. Some of them maybe a challenge, as like the moongore one I dont think you can get without the quest. So you have to re-kill them to get the title.

Also some new titles for siege. (Nothing special)

the title u got from "check" are from completing all quests in a zone. they make a title for each zone for having every title.

i got 23 when i checked first, then any other times i check it says "obtained 4 titles". But it doesnt add to my total titles or my hp, so i believe thats just a bug and says u got X titles, but u arnt getting any in reality.

Normally I would agree with you Twisted, many folks dont know about that check. But I am title lead on Palenque. So I do title check often.

The titles I got on check was from siege and crafting titles. I am sure some others, would have to dig into that more - but getting the 26-28 titles scrolled very slowly so I did see the different names. It was from the patch.

Clicked check again, and got 3 more titles.
I don't get the check thing... Why not just give us the title when we accomplished its requirements?

o ya and crafting titles also, forgot about those.
but what i meant, was they added ANOTHER title for each zone for getting every title for that zone lol.

It sorta sucks that i'm locked out of some of the titles, particularly the ones under the "hunting" catrgory. I can no longer get some of the low level ones such as Hungry Greyce from the Logar quest "Things that go Bump in the Night" since it doesn't seem to respawn for me anymore.

I am leveling an alt to try to get the Greyce in party with them. I think that may work.

If you havent started your 3rd class, once you do you can get all the old bear titles.

The one that looks to be bugged is the Mystic Altar title. If you have done the MA quests, and didnt get it - it doesnt look like you can ever try for it again. (some good posts on the eu forums on folks trying to get that one)

I still click check from the day of this post. I can probably check two to three times a day. And each time it tells me I gained 2 titles. Never tells me which lol. I haven't ran Malatina for a few days before my OP but I ran it today and got the very first title to that. I know I have had the 100 times title for those minis and it is not there anymore. Wish they would not mess with titles, it was bad enough the crit nerf. Speaking of which, did anyone see todays rom cast and the bragging of the extreme crits? Wonder if they used those as a basis to reduce crit on gear, or if they are using that as an excuse to tell us, "look, people are still critting high, there is nothing wrong."

I did it on my 3rd class, level 38 and didnt get it. I had the kill doloros guild quest just in case that might help. Nothing. So it looks like you only have the one chance to get it.

Just checked with the Fire patch and check title still shows I gained 4 titles every time I check. (and no titles show up)

There was a ticket open on this on the old system, so not sure its still being worked or not. Just in case, opened a new ticket about the problem.
