OK whats up with the weekly and weekend specials? ....... the same unchanged weekend special thats up there now is going to be there for its 3rd weekend soon!

Is this RoM's way of saveing us all money? .... cause Im finding I dont need to buy diamonds anymore the stuff thats in the Item shop specials I bought almost 3 weeks ago!!!!!!

I kind of agree, this sale was on for far too long. Should have changed for new years definitely. It still has 6 more days left -.-;

I appreciate the plussing jewels, the golden repair hammers, and reset tickets that have been on sale for a long time. Frankly, I'm of the opinion that there should always be at least a small sale on those particular items, as they go a long way towards character development.

That stated, the sales went stale a while ago. I'm starting to wonder if the sales team went on a month long vacation or something.

Ive noticed diamond prices dropping a little...if it keeps dropping and STAYS where it drops to, this could be beneficial to the economy in game. This is of course based on the assumption that anyone that wanted to buy diamonds isnt because of the same special for so long.

ya noticed our dia shop items' $ have dropped a little too... checked out EU's non-sale $ of their dia shop items yesterday were about the same, Phirius shop $ are what our Phirius shop $ used to be pre Ch IV but... EU's ruby shop $ omg! lol what stood out to me was all their ruby shop $ on wings are great lol I wish our ruby shop $ on all wings were only 119whatever rubies! Too bad the only wings at that $ r the Little Devil Wings for us =( Other ruby shop items cost like 2 rubies more than us like the backpack tickets & bank tickets.

Goes with my theory that NA sales/marketing team does not exist. (or you can call it permanent vacation)

What if sales are going very well??

IMHO last holiday sales and bonus XP/TP are quite laughable... not sure if we should call them that.

I can't even remember the last time I opened the CS and there was something other than what I saw this morning. (Ok, very slight exaggeration). And the daily sales? Really...one random item? Just throwing a dart at a board?

I know lots of folks are waiting on X runes again...personally I could use a pet-related item sale (these used to be almost *too* common)...and no attribute purifiers sold in FOREVER (umm...lots of people getting new gear lately, sorry we didn't all stock up on one of the most expensive items in the CS shop).

Wondering if this is some holiday-related and/or EU transitional issue...or if this is what we can expect from now on. No surprise dia prices are dropping...what is there to buy?

(And...nice touch on having the daily sales for the past 2 days nearly match items ALREADY SOLD in the sales packages)

I too am wondering if they will change sales anytime soon....Im pretty sure all who needed those items have stocked up on them already. The three weeks prior to this sale the CS deals were amazing, then boom the CS monitors have obviously quit or gone on an extended vacation.

I bought diamonds for the first time in a year and obviously it was instant regret. Which leads me to believe more customers will be once again clenching their pocket books/wallets...GG Frogster!

Hey, if they want to keep having sales on stuff I dont need (I now have enough perfect +16ers for my next THREE main hand weapons) I guess I will just use the money I was gonna spend on dias on something else.

Someone must have been monitoring things from the EU side, as we now have double diamonds again.

I really hope this isn't a new sales trend. Granted, it's driving up the need for other items that aren't on sale/available like crazy *cough X runes, parrots and attribute purifying stones cough*.

I always took the 12/23 announcement as a long term offer, considering the previous years - I did expect to have additional offers on the holiday weekends themselves.

That they did not, nor have a holiday charity event - I think is a bad sign. (full credit to the cm's and gm's working, my concern isnt about them)

Then they can say "we gave you every opportunity to get to 16"

Not hard to plan ahead of time and automate sales.

They have a community that's constantly asking for items like give us X on sale, give us Y on sale, it's not hard to throw a few sales together when that's exactly what your job is sales.

We have a "sales team", and I wouldn't be surprised if they had to get approval a few weeks in advance for every sale, but it seems really like a bad effort on their part (there were daily sales up, but hell they were random and for 3 days it was Superior Experience Charm to Superior Talent Charm to Superior Experience Charm; not quite sure what they were thinking with that one).

Even if they broke up their main sale into 3 weeks; it'd have been better to create some diversity, people in this game look forward to sales, and it just seems like a stupid idea to have the same sale for 3 weeks straight.

its called "weekend" ...

feel free to dig through the english news on runesofmagic.com for ENEU to see that +100% diamonds is something thats almost every friday until sunday night, with some rare exceptions.

its probably just less work to put the same offer to all realms now that they are consolidating anyway
