I have been online on the Palenque server through out the holidays, and I can personally state I saw no GM's.

I can state that Christmas and New Years from previous years being on other servers, the clients were looked after very well. I have been here since Beta, so I have been around since the first Christmas RoM had.

I am not ranting or complaining, I am stating facts and offering constructive criticism, that we all hope reaches the powers that be.

Last year for Christmas on Grimdal, no GM's visited.

i saw gms for halloween but none for xmas or newyears on reni server

FA was around for halloween, its now only EU remember the so called "merge" of both sides to better manage/communicate

Oh, but you can say that for 99% of any year, lol.

Well I didn't see any GMs either and I was on most of the time. But the major problem is no hot stew in the AH and egg rice prices sky rocketing!

As for the GMs closing my thread well that is just lame.

It's a discussion forum we should be able to rant and express ourselves all we want! If people don't like what they're reading just go to another thread!

Anyways, thanks for the replies it's good to know I'm not alone!

Someone made an official "Unofficial Runes of Magic" forums a few months ago I'll search later to see if it still exists.

The Last post was deleted due to excessive Profanity and Ranting. This Thread is Redundant and against Forum rules. But i will keep it going as long that is continues to be clean.

So, if we put our complaint in the title, is THAT not against the forum rules? Seriously though, we saw a few GMs fer the "kill the snowman" event, which twas loads o fun, but other than that, me didn't see or hear bout GMs on the Artemis server this last month. There be rumors that GMs have now gone extinct (an other rumors be that they never existed). This be the first MMO me hast playered where the GMs be so noticably absent. Me knoweth that when they do show, they get mobbed by beggars/whiners/fans/etc., but twas thinkin that maybers iffn they showed MORE they would garner less interest over time (course, they would haver ter cut back on handin out the goodies iffn they did that, an we all like the goodies.) Me knows that GMs be busy, but maybers they can lobby wit their press-gang owners an get dedicated times ter be on server fer the customers o the game. (happy customers = kept customers - but then, anyone in business knoweth this.)

Only times i have ever seen a GM on since i started RoM 5 months ago was during Veterans day, Halloween event aka Crashoween during that Trick or Treat thing, and some random snowman event. Other than that I have never seen 1 GM do a casual World Chat Shout, hell I have never even seen a GM char in person in RoM.

Let's just say ever since FEU has taken over.
GM has are disappear. There are no RoM cast, so high chance of them firing our old GM b/c FA doesn't exist anymore.
By not having GM FEU save some money.

I don't understand the MIA GM's either, and we're starting to really feel the lack.

Back in the old days, GM's would show up every so often just to say hi. They didn't always give out goodies, sometimes they would just shoot the breeze in worldchat or duel people on the bridge in Varanas.

I miss that.

They also used to pop on when things got ugly in worldchat. I haven't seen any worldchat supervision in a long long time. I can see them letting a random F-bomb slip past without comment, but when people rant for an hour at each other and no one intervenes, it makes the servers feel lawless.

I'd like to know my GM's, and I did know some of the old ones, and that engendered trust. I knew if I ever had a problem with my account, I could rely on Tenmei or Hathore to take care of things. Tenmei actually fixed a friend's account once off the clock, he dialed in from home on a holiday to make things right, and that really impressed me.

Now... I dunno where I would even turn if I ever logged on and my account was hacked.

Who do you call when you suspect hackers? I knew who to holler at before- now I don't.

Our new Frogster Overlords need to understand that people feel kind of abandoned. We have sales that go on for weeks, that seem like they're set on automatic pilot. No one ever pops on to say hi, and no one seems like they're home. If you have a problem, you can't even send in a ticket in game anymore- you have no idea how much that bothers people.

What we really need is a GM per server, like a real server mommy or daddy. Someone who would get to know us, get to know who mouths off in worldchat, who the worst spammers are, who's hacking whose account etc. They wouldn't need to be online 24/7, they could work part time on one server and part time on another- but we need to see boots on the ground. We need to see presence. Not just presents.

we have confirmed 1 visit by a gm or cm in game a little less than i had hoped for but its a start

I saw nothing in his post breaking any rules. You really need to calm down bud, you're only moderating an mmo forum.

Due to the restructure of Runes Of Magic, it was left up to a very few GM's to go to every server on every day.
I personally saw them online for about 14 hours a day.
They let us know when they were finished with each server and the event.
Because they could not spend a large amount of time on any one server and you did not see them does not mean they were not there.
Cut them a huss please.
Better days are coming.
