RIP Marketing Department....

Either someone (smart) at froggster fired all marketing people, or those bank robbers in Varenas took them as hostages... but marketing department (talking about EU one as US one is not existing anymore) is MIA. :D

Same sale is going into 4th week....

GM/CM, any explanation as why and if there will be any changes in this week?

We all love those fail sale... bring some more please... :D

It's not that the items on sale are bad, mind you. They are good. It is just that we had them for 3 weeks. We had no Christmas weekend sale, no New Year weekend sale, no sale last weekend. We all knew the current sale would last that long, but we kinda expected other sales to pop up, and that did not happen. Daily sales happened, sure, but that is not the same.

Things are so bad on Reni that diamond sellers are complaining that they cant find diamond buyers. :D That is quite a reversal from just a few weeks ago when you could not swing a dead cat without hitting buyer, and sellers were nowhere to be found.

Might this be Froggy's way of getting the in-game economy under control..Diamond sellers cannot find buyers = lower diamond prices = lower AH prices = more endgame gear at lower cost..

The sale items for the past three weeks are to expire later this afternoon, but once again, they have expired early?

I like these "long" sales (assuming they even work after their supposed expiration date. Gives plenty of time for sellers to restock dias, and us dias buyers to find them.

I just hope it isn't 6 months til they do +16 jewels again since they ran them for so long. I got what I wanted plus but didn't really stock up.

I really wish I hadn't missed the puri daily sale a while back. :(

I have always gotten exactly what I paid for, it might have taken a while a couple times when there was a lot of traffic on the buying page, but I always eventually got them. Are there people who have paid for dias and NEVER received them? If so, shame on you froggy. But I know of not a single person who EVER paid for dias and did not get them within 10 seconds-48 hours, yeah, the 48 hours part sucks, and needs to be looked into, but I have never seen someone pay for dias and just have the money vanish.

If you look in the Billing Issues threads you will see several who purchased diamonds since the middle of December and have not received them and support has not contacted any of them regarding the purchases.

Wonder if i can post about a website called bbb.org aka Better Business Bureau. Under them, Frogster American when it was around got a D ranking and was Non-Accredited, rankings go from A+ to F :rolleyes:. Trying to find Frogster EU and RW, wonder if any juicy info on them :cool:

The diamond sellers at the moment appear to be rather plentiful, so the theory that diamond sellers are not getting the diamonds they paid for is rather divorced from reality. While there are certainly some issues, there are always some issues. I don't see any evidence that billing problems are more severe and widespread now than they have been in the past. Even if they are, holiday season is like that; problems tend to be harder to solve when many people are on vacation.

This thread is not about that anyway; it is about the way in which the holiday sales have been disappointing, which they have been. Threadjacking it with individual issues is not the best move.

Wow, that really sucks, and those people have my sympathy. If something like that happened to me, I don't know if I would ever feel comfortable giving frogster my money again. I have used multiple methods of payment (zeevex, CC, paypal, UGC) and it always went smoothly. Well, I am done jacking this thread ;) Best of luck to the people who haven't gotten what they paid for.

Anyone notice yesterday during the so called transporting sale that the "on sale" transport runes where being sold at 2.5 dia per (10 for 25dia) but if you went to the weekend sales the transport runes where still being sold for 2 dia per (3 for 6 dia).

This is a classic case of one hand not paying attention to what the other hand is doing. Also if you're going to have a 'big sale' then at least make the sale item the same price as whats already out there and not it more.

I mentioned that on 4th post on this topic. It's a sign of (non) existance of marketing department.

The so called 'deals' are mediocre sales. If they felt a bit more free and giving, they would added small gifts into those - and I would call them sales... at this time I would call it just a regular CS price reduced a little bit, not enough to get an item.
