I just checked and Loading Character Data is taking longer then usual. But it loaded for me. I will forward this to our IT to be looked into, in the meanwhile please try to restart your game client and try again.

Edit: Still looking into this.

Could some of you with problems connecting to servers please do a tracert:

Command: "Tracert 64.127.104.210"

(In Execute(/Search) in windows
Type cmd
press enter
type tracert 64.127.104.210
And let it run)

and post the results here?

Tracert to Reni server IP (in your other message) fails in the same location as tracert to general gateway.

Not sure if it's the hamsters...I think its the bearings on the wheels that are failing. The servers have been getting worse as each week passes. :eek:

As per the old adage: "The squeaky wheel gets the grease". The din of failing bearings would have to have drawn attention by now; a starving hamster probably doesn't make much noise...just saying.

The last accessible node in trace is relatively close to the destination. That means either data center or something close to data center is having issues. Also, likely that it affects everyone, not just one server.

I'm in Vegas and am showing the same timeout results as Vfwiffo on a tracert, minus the New England hops, obviously. However, I am having no problems logging into the game currently. Are you sure you are testing against the correct IP?

I'm also getting a timeout @ 64.127.104.212 to which I am also currently connected via the game. I would imagine that this just means those timeouts are just the result of a firewall blocking the transmission of this sort of packet.

Ping and tracert use UDP and not standard TCP, if I remember correctly. It is possible that UDP is blocked but standard TCP traffic is getting across fine. Frogs would know as it seems to be close to their data center.
