Any news on an iPad client for Runes of Magic?

I'm sure many of us would be interested in being able to access our characters from our iPad.

I asked question long time ago, and never got any response.

My guess that is not even in plan to be iPad available. Even online version of RoM requires close to 1GB of memory to work.

I can open my computer screen on iPad with nice application called Spalhstop, but it's not very friendly to use with client.

just try loading browser.runesofmagic.com to see if it works. it's still just EU servers, though, so you may need to make a new account there to test it.

Sorry for confusion, yes, browser version.

Check your computer memory usage once you try to open web version of the game. It's close to 1GB.

EDIT:

Just checked, at loading screen loader file is already clsoe to 600MB. Not sure how that (if even can) work with 256/512 MB (iPad1/iPad2's working memory)

Browser version is not going to do you much good. It is still running ROM executable, albeit a modified one, with two main points of modification being a startup done through browser and not the client and with resource loading done dynamically. I am sure there is more to it, but the basic point stands; it is a windows executable code that Ipad wont be able to run.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.
