I'm seeing all these newbies that come in and start saying "Oh my lvl 55 M/P is wearing such-and-such gear." wtf I've been playing for the better part of two months and I play regularly and still trying to hit 50. And these people I'm talking about joined in Jan. 2012.![]()

Ok first off I'm not lvling three classes the only reason I have Scout and its level 30 is for Chiron, becuz leveling my Wd/W is too boring for me. :p
Thanks for all the replies I guess I understand how newbies are getting higher than me. I guess its just frustrating to see someone like me you plays a good bit and is still grinding thru whatever levels and these brand new people shoot up past me in a couple of days. But I guess its just my personality I don't take the easy road out.![]()

If you want to be insta-uber, use the tips in this thread and you can more or less power-level yourself to 70/50/50 in a weekend.
But... you'll lose a lot of the fun factor. Part of the fun is grouping up with a bunch of people and running instances and just having a great time. If there are a bunch of level 45-50 peeps in Demenza, group up with them and have a ball. Do Kalin Shrine, do Cyclops Lair, tackle Treasure Trove. But, if they're all off doing HoS/Dl/ZS without you, I can totally see why you would feel left out.
You can level fast if you want to, but take some time and play your own game. Don't feel bad about it. Rome wasn't built in a day, and your toon doesn't have to be either.

One thing to remember: those newbies may be 55+ in a day or two, but they don't have the slightest clue what they're doing when they get there. Makes me sick when I have to hold the hand of someone 10+ levels above me and walk them through basic content becuase all they did was powerlevel to the end. If you're 55+ and don't know the names of zones and towns, can't use the transmutor for even basic gear modifications, and have to ask where to go in NoM....yeah...nuf said...Do what you're doing man, you will be a much more powerful player than them trust me.

What he said. Also, although the max cap has raised since the game launched and leveling is easier with the powerlevel zones (CoO and Xaviera) alot of us old school players had to take months to get to 50 with crappy mob dropped gear statting and tiering with green stats. Im not saying you have to go through all that but the point is taking things at your own pace and enjoy the game because you can ask almost any old player who are still around, chapter 1 and 2 will be their favourite. Seeing new players rush pass it is sad they are missing out on a big chunk of the game.
You can have lot of fun during the early lvls. Always feel like you have something to do. Not so much at the lvl cap/end game. Either your grinding mems, repeating events, or waiting for others to get online to start runs. Only real enjoyment I get at end game is downing new bosses, but even wiping in order to do so gets boring.Location: Your Closet

I've been playing since the end of ch2, lets just say I never hit the lvl cap until ch 4You can have lot of fun during the early lvls. Always feel like you have something to do. My advice: Enjoy the early parts of the game. Those are the most fun. Learn new tricks and situations that make your skills useful. Familiarize yourself with everything. I did, and knowing my class got me *very* far, even compared to people who used to outgear me. Now, I outgear them, and surpass them in terms of knowing my role and performing it well. Bottom Line-go at your own pace, have fun and learn along the way.
