Join date 1/27/2012?!

How much could you be in game to want to transfer account? *unless you have DIAS or permanent mount on that account

Just create character on different server if you don't like the one you're on.

Have too much stuff on the account not worth starting over on a different server. Just want a SERVER TRANSFER!

Too much staff in 3-4 day of game play?

BTW, what server are you on? Why do you like to transfer, if I may ask?

You wont be able to transfer the character, but GM's have helped players move diamonds, mounts and wings to new characters on other servers.

The way ti worked was that you deleted the items from the existing toon then they would mail you the a new"blank" item, so any stats /tier's you had would be gone.

But the best thing would be to send in a ticket to support. Include with your request, Current server, account name, character names with the mounts/wings and diamonds you wish to transfer, and server you wish to transfer to+character name on that new server. Make sure that the new character is set up already :)

All the best.

This used to be done, but they have now put a stop to this as well. They won't even transfer wings, mounts between accounts any longer either. I'm not sure if they intend to bring this back, but for the time being, this is how it is.

Wow, just wow >.> and I still dont remember seeing a response to the sharing of mounts between characters on the same account like they told us we were getting in chapter 4. They sure like to curb the players anyway they can to siphon every little bit of $ we got.

Strange thing is that AU servers are still doing transfers and only limited to move every 14 days... (not sure about EU servers, can someone from EU tell us if they can transfer anything between accounts?)

I believe that our staff got a bit lazy...

Australian server transfers are little easier than US or EU ones, though. "Where is your character now, sir? Thalia? We can work with that. Where do you want to transfer it to? Thalia again? OK, give us a week or so and we'll transfer it". :p

Come on, don't make jokes about poor ozzy people, pink hat sire.

They can transfer between characters/accounts, where we can't. Wouldn't be nice to be able to transfer one extra mount from your main onto your alt? ;)

Craigers already pointed it out correctly, thank you very much :).

At this point no mount transfers or character transfers are possible. I also have no information on if and when they will be.

Anything non-diamond related you obtained in 3-4 days of playtime, you can regain on the new server in 3-4 days as well. It is better to start over now, and not wait another 2 or 3 weeks, and still want to change.

For anything diamond related, since it has just been 3-4 days playtime, it can not hurt to ask support if they can assist you. Procedure-wise there is no grounds for refund, as all game features worked correctly and no mistake (accidentally picked wrong server on diamond purchase) was made though. So please do not bite my head of if they have to refuse.

Just a simple wish that everything work so well as purchasing of diamonds.

From what I understand (never done it myself), the transfer was always quite manual. They would verify that you have the item (wings, mounts), then they would ask you to delete it, then they would verify that deletion was done and then send you a new one on the new character. That is why enhancements, such as mount coloring, were lost. There was never an actual transfer; just a deleted item and newly generated one.

Never understood why GMs didn't just do deletion themselves. I figure they do have a power to remove player's item. Perhaps it was administrative decision not to open the "we removed item shop item from non-cheating player" can of worms.

Either way, it was a cumbersome procedure, so I can kinda see why it was discontinued. Still a good service to players, though.

Yes, it was cumbersome, but it helped keep people happy.

I had my first mount transferred to alt just before we switched to FEU's rule, and I was surprised at speed it was done.

Easy fix would be to make permanent mounts not bound, but doubt they would ever implement that, just in try to milk more DIAS from people with more then one character in game.

Another suggestion was to have sharable CS bag and partner beg per account, but again, I doubt they would do any move like that if it means that they might loose some profit, no matter how small amount of profit we're talking.

Sad thing is that with greed like that they are more turning players away from game, then making the game appealing.

Personally, I would say that having mounts bound to characters allows them to be cheaper and thus more affordable. If you could use them from six different characters then the price would have to increase. The marketing idea of just making everything cheaper doesn't seem to have an awful lot of direction.

Being able to keep costs down by having one character is important for the casual player. Aim everything at the addicts and the casual players (who probably contribute a surprising amount of income) are frozen out.

Mounts could be reworked - among my ideas would be cut down starter mounts from 30-45% speed increase, mount skins, and perm upgrades for 2% speed (or up to 70 or 75%) and the ability to fly over water.

Object would be to offer players value from the cash shop, not just cut prices because that is what everyone wants, and how can that be wrong? Mob rule surely is the obvious way to go.

Now, where is my pitchfork and burning torch....

There is no clean line between cheaper and more affordable and higher profit with lower population.

To game to expand and get more people, prices have to be more reasonable, and with more new game releases as of late (many being F2P as well), RoM will have to look into it's pricing a bit more closely.

Question is what do you get for your RL money and how RoM with all good and bad side is appealing to new player. (and with current mob gatherings because of SW and all other issues, glad I don't work for QA or support :D)
