Anyone saving up to see what the special deal is? Or know of anyone that is doing/has done this? Definitely interested in seeing if its worth saving up 5k :p

There's no special deal or anything extra other than being to spend your eoj on gear pulls, as opposed to having to place in order to.pull. There are no extra menus/selections etc.

So basically its the same price as getting first, only for someone that cant seem to get first? Ahhh, I wish the time spent coming up with THAT idea was spent on maybe...checking that your item shop specials were actually specials and not higher in price than normal o.O

Yea a guildie hit 5k EoJ's yesterday, exchange rate was the same, just acts as if you came first. Pulled 24 Hero plate/leather and got 1x stam/patk 1xdex/patk

That is unfortunate at best. I am at 2.4k atm havent done events in awhile to busy with guild runs, takes up all my time now xD

I dont think they ever promised a better rate. The patch notes said "reasonable" rate, which I was afraid meant "better than 999 you get with window shopping option, but not as good as 210 you get when you win". That it is still 210 is good news.

OTOH, 5000 EOJs is completely ridiculous number. Grats to Arkana's guildie, I didn't think anyone would hit that many.

Which reminds me... they still haven't put the attribute extraction stones on sale that were introduces in same patch. Hey, sales dept, dont make me unleash <a certain forum poster in this very thread who has been nipping on your heels lately>.

I suspect it will be in this weekends sale, since they put up the instructions on the main website.

I will be hitting 5k soon, that is if I go to TB and even do the events (I mainly go there for my dailies then hit the shell games). Since learning of this I may decide to hit the public quests more now.
