3 RoM MUST GET AN ANTICHEAT PROGRAM TO GET RID OF THE HACKERS AND CHEATERS.
As long as it's not Gameguard.
5 Players shoudl stop blaming Frogster for the problems. They ahve no control over the actual coding of the game, only Runewaker has the ability to do something about the bugs, glitches and exploits ingame.
Some of the things players have always had problems with are up to Frogster...especially the prices in the cash shop. That's one of the main factors in the game right now that pushes people away. That is up to Frogster, not Runewaker. And it's not a new complaint. It's something that's gotten worse and worse since the release of chapter 4 due to how many tiers of gear there are now.
6 Players need to be more patient about what is beign done. QQing doesn't get us anywhere except the bottom of the heap.
I waited for months for the promised fix to the economy before I finally gave up. I feel bad for everyone who's still waiting, because for them it's been even longer. On issues that have been ongoing for months (or years) it's inexcusable for them to not have addressed said issues yet. There comes a point where your patience runs dry.
7 Players need to listen to the CM"s and GM's on their support tickets. Everytime you send one in or you edit your one you have in it is dropped to the bottom of the heap. That is counter productive for us and support. Give them time to answer your question and then solve it or send it to the people that can solve it. If and I mean if it gets closed before it is answered by a living person then reopen it.
And yet some people that don't bump their tickets to the back of the line accidentally still haven't gotten responses in the months since they sent them in...
8 The AH problems are caused by US the players. Frogster nor Runewaker can do anything about the scumbuckets that are greedy beyond belief and attempt to sell crap for outrageous prices. I personaly refuse to pay anything over 50 million for any one piece of gear, especialy if the item set skill has been removed.
Frogster and Runewaker can implement gold sinks, which FA had started to do before they were closed. It's not an end-all to everything, but it would help, over time, if there was a decent one implemented. Prices will still never get down to where they were, but saying that Frogster can't do anything about the economy is just ignorant.
9 Siege is the worst part of RoM at this time due to cheaters, hackers, and players using exploits. I know quite a few guilds on Reni that refuse to do Siege anymore for those reasons alone.
Before FA was demolished, Swag admitted that he didn't think anything was going to be done with siege, ever. This latest lag glitch that's been happening is bad, sure, but all the problems that existed before it in siege due to faulty coding or hacks likely won't ever be resolved.
I know it is a wall of text but people we all need to realize that this is a F2P game and the item shop is only here for those that want to use it. Yes paid subscription games can be better, but a lot of players cannot afford to pay each month for any game.
Any subscription game is cheaper than RoM, by far. Other F2P MMOs on the market find a way to create an equal balance between F2P and P2P--i.e. either making the cash shop not sell power items, or making it so players can trade CS items amongst one another. I still have never seen, however, a game with a cash shop as greedy as this one. There's a pretty thick line between needing to make a profit and price gouging customers. I'll give you one guess as to which side Frogster falls under.
@ OP - I agree that this game has some serious issues that have continued to be overlooked. Just one of the many reasons I left RoM last summer. I still browse the forums though, in hopes that this game will be improved eventually. I fell in love with the game when I first started playing. It's definitely changed for the worst since then.
