New zone dailies

The next zone - Old Kingdom of Rorrzan (L71-72) has dailies which are 263332 and 273970. To those of us who have been sick and tired of Xaviera Inferno Gardens, constant dogmeat botting and boring fly raids, the new zone looks to be putting end to that. If I never sleep-run through the fly raid, it would be too soon.

On the other hand, regular quests seem to be way below what TB offers, at 684683 and 821910. I wonder if this would mean return of "there are not enough quests to level" complaints.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

Looks like 2 new instances :O

And a new continent with 5 zones... I guess that mean 2 more zones in chapter 4? Since Zandorya still has 2 places covered in clouds.

Frankly I'm not worried about hitting the new level cap. I kept doing dailies after the current one to farm easy tp for my skills, so it's likely that when the new chapter/content is released, first mob I hit means I'll insta-level.

I just sincerely hope that Runewaker actually tested the new content. The game can't handle another GCD/LOS issue.

Nah bots will just split between xaviera and the new one then; we won't get rid of them through this sadly.

And yay for new content that will most likely be broken!

One would hope they have learned their lesson on this one and put enough quests in this time.

I'm guessing the player base's biggest fear is that there will be some surprise new "feature" like the GCD, the busted LOS, The Mighty Shield knight nerf, the % mana nerf, etc. Funny that I used to look forward to new patches, now I hold my breath and hope they don't break things too badly.

Hopefully some things will get fixed though, even something simple like the first tick on HOTs would be nice, maybe put the floor back in before KT last boss, etc. I'd love to see a release that was just to fix game play issues, NOT add new features, just fix broken items. In fact I'd like to suggest a bunch of those type releases. Not rewording an item's descriptive text, some real meaty bug fixes. If that cannot be done I'd like to see a QA group formed to test the new content AND THE OLD content before the new zone is released, and if it doesn't pass muster, DO NOT DEPLOY THE PATCH!! Send it back to RW to be fixed with a note saying "we will no longer accept fail patches, our customers are too important to us to do this to them again and we are making a stand".

Yup level 70 cap came out latter half of November, however the gap between 60 -> 62 was only about 3 months the last part of Chapter III and I have been expecting, and still do, a level 72 cap since Chapter IV launch :)

Time will tell, about 1-2 months max I'd say...

Given the huge revenue jolt they get with each patch I can see this coming very soon. Plus I'm already fully geared so I welcome any new content. Can we get it tomorrow =P

Here is the runesdb page with what little is available, besides the always-informative German fan site that ruisen linked.

http://www.runesdatabase.com/zone/22

I would like to see the patch too. It is always easier to do the gearing a little behind the bleeding edge. GCH and Tosh might be available to best of the best endgamers, but it is not to most. Those who either possess the skills and time, or can afford to put a lot of money into game (or likely both) can clear the tough instances. But for many players, the new gear and new stats mean that they can run RT at higher difficulty, drag less geared guildies through SC, or put together runs that dont involve best of the best in the guild. All good things, IMO.

Oh, and new dailies are universally the values that I listed in OP, so hopefully that means lots of them going to be doable, and that means less botting. Sure, those who are not at L70 would likely still do dog meat, but still, anything that diminishes that unbalanced aberration is good thing in my mind.

Actually, I think Xaviera will still be popular, because you only need to be level 50 to do the dailies, while the new zones requires lv 70+, making leveling those secondary/third class unavailable (unless you've been able to get them to 70).

This for sure.

Don't forget in the new zone, mobs had A LOT more HP, so I have a very good feeling ... it might happen again in the 72 zone. Priests and Druids might not be extremely delighted to farm dailies there when they can one shot the Guard Dogs.

New daily's so far seems awesome. I am sick of being in a low level zone.

I fear problems with the normal quests. That is a big amount lower then TB quests. I don't quest till 2x xp anyways so hitting level cap will be easy but was hoping i could hit 72/72 without resets. (ofc i will not buy resets even if i don't hit 72)

Though most people will not agree with me, i hope this new zone is anti noob. I want monsters to be very strong. Don't want to see people in non stated quest gear or hos gear running doing all the quests. I want the new zone to be like how AV was when it first came out. Punish the weak and make them gear up.

The problem is that only DPS classes can kill those mobs and leave Priests + Druids at a disadvantage.

Scouts, Wardens, Rogues, Warriors, Mages can rofl-stomp the new-zones ... and leave Priests/Druids behind so they spend a while on each mob.

+10 for rofl-stomping mages. I am one such mage and TB has become easy since I was forced to gear up. Granted I am not in full endgame gear, but I can now get revenge on those mobs that used to take me out in just one or 2 hits. Damn it is so sweet the feeling I get when watching the thieving thugs just go splat from a well timed discharge and purge.

I am a noob solo player and have been doing my 10 dailies in Xav since I hit 50... i am only 53 now as the exp is ALOT slower than it was to get to 50..

Do I understand you correctly when you say, the exp that I am getting now, is the best it gets for the next 20 levels? That's totally unbalanced if true. I have been some quests in lvl 54 zones and the exp is not even 1/2 of the 10 dog meat or butterfly quests...

I'd still like a bite from the carrot for the last two cap raises before you make me chase it further. WTF...what did we get out of the last two updates? The encounters were terrible and siege is borked. Gear up again? Nah.../pass

Yes... Xaviera dailies are best in the game now, and even when the new dailies come out, they will only take a little off that. The thing is that Xaviera IS horribly unbalanced, overpowered and much too easy. You were never ever meant to level there, except for 3rd class. You didn't do it on your 3rd, did you? You went there on primary.

Xaviera is a virtual giveaway of level 52 to people who have not played the game. Think of it as sleeping through 12 years of school because they said "you are getting your diploma no matter what". And now you graduated, the giveaway is over, and your adjustment to proper rate of leveling is going to be that much harder.

Yeah, you can tell the parts of the game that have been patched in... i was playing lvl's 1-25 started as normal, then I discovered the coast of opportunity!...went from getting 4k dailes at lvl 30 to around 30K dailes.. leveled up to 50 in a couple of days. Was very evident the game was patched. The zone is very linear... just follow the road... not very well thought out or mapped, imo.

Lets just put CoO this way...

It took me from ch 2 to ch 4 to reach the level cap on my main. Before CoO.

On my alt I hit lvl 52 in 9 hours (on the same day), and hit lvl 70 two days later.
