just is really funny that they copy Age of Conans "vanity armor"
Quoted from "Dkjester;509920"
the point is not that it is copied, but the fact that instead of spending time actually FIXING things they decide just to find systems that work for other games and put it in. Far easier then trying to fix anything, right?
but i guess that escapes people. Either that or they would rather point and make those comments then actually ADMIT faults. Far easier to point and jest then really address the main issue.

I'm sorry that you think i'm a small child, i am asking rightful and constructive questions. BTW i'm 44

I read this:
It isn't that they copied it, but rather that they copied it.
Quoted from "grimoru;509926"
If at 44, you don't know the difference between ignorant, inflammatory, trolling questions and 'rightful' (lol) and constructive questions, then I feel embarrassed for you. You keep posting nonsense and I will keep responding to the nonsense.

P.S. Maybe a CM or GM might want to look on grimoru and check your forum rules and maybe explain it to that person. thx
Quoted from "aardvark3;509939"
This whole bit about copying is absurd. Everything in every game has been done before many many times in almost the exact way. Classes, skills occupations, etc have all been done before in many many other games. There is nothing new in any games and it is not even computer games copying from one another, this predates computers and even the board games.
There are records of the same types of fantasy, role playiing games throughout the middle ages and even in Roman and Egyptian times. To even say that something is copied is silly. Nothing is original it is all just a rehash of what has gone before many many times.
Quoted from "RiannasHope;509934"
And you're creating pointless, childish drama by getting on his sack, what's your point exactly? Drop it, nobody cares.
Quoted from "Dkjester;509930"
Then that is a shame which just shows how far down we are plumitting as a species..... if that was mean to be anything other then a feeble attempt at humor. it is also nice that you modified the quote as well. which might be the reason why you came to that conclusion.
you put as the quote:

What actually was put:

This could be root of your misunderstanding, but after all i am not shocked. People consistantly read what they want to read and omit what they dont. So it just proves that point.

You do realize that the text I took out doesn't change the context of the idea of your sentence in any shape or form? I took it out to simply point out that you over a course of half sentence said exactly the opposite of your beliefs as previously said in that exact sentence. If your arguing that the middle of your sentence was the ending, then your thought and argument were moot from the beginning because of poor presentation of it. If you think that anything they put in now is ground breaking for MMORPG then you need to go play the genre. You'd rather have them fix siege wars, where 2 guilds fight each other? Ground breaking stuff, isn't it? If you think ROM is copying these games so well, then you should go play them since they already have what you're apparently looking for. Otherwise be thankful for what we have and be patient for the future. If you can't do that, then you shouldn't be sticking around anyways.
