Stupid pills? Jesus did I miss the memo on the CS selling those? I feel left out, as usual. Remind me of whats the point of arguing with someone on these forums for really no apparent reason? Indeed its seems that the CS is selling stupid pills. Are they on sale, or coming in a bundled pack? Is there a fail rate? Ugh, so many questions!!!!!

And how about we use this thread to discuss the things actually implemented with this patch and not the things not mentioned in Patch Notes, such as Siege Wars Fixes

And a little bit less fighting please would be nice also.

And there are some things in MMOs where we can not invent the wheel new but offer similar mechanics. And here I was, hoping, that some of you actually like the wardrobe idea

that must be nice however i can't enjoy the new game or patch because the game keeps crashing on the loading screen ever since that patch >.>

i would try the list of:
restart
Make sure in task manager that there isnt a clientupdate.exe still running by hitting ctrl/shift/esc, going to the tab Processes, click on mem useage to order it with the most mem using things at the bottom, scroll down. If you see one there, left click on it and click end process. Then try to start the game again

those are the first two things i would try

So, if the wardrobe feature doesn't work quite right, can we call it "wardrobe malfunction"?

And if so, can we call the inability to understand why operational issues would not be covered in software patch notes "comprehension malfunction"?

I'm sure they will like the wardrobe idea. Unfortunately they like trolling more

Personally I am glad for the new feature, it is one of the things I really like about AoC.

Now.... how about siege? Is it fixed? Can we do the autopsy quest as originally written? Have all the items lost during the infamous "house chests of not-so-infinite-holding" patch been returned? Line of sight - does we haz it?

Or is that trolling.........

i did the patch update and it finished. i log in with both my passwords and choose my charactor and it goes to load and crashes

do you get the crash message to let you send report or does it just dump to the desktop? If you use curse, close it down and make sure isnt running in the back ground. If you use addons try disabling all of them, even to the point of moving the folders out of your rom/interface/addons folderm, you can copy back later. It almost sounds like it didnt patch right. There used to be a way to roll back the version and repatch or a manual patch that used to be posted. Uninstall/reinstall is the last thing i would try due to the time that it takes to DL the whole thing. Ill look for the link where that used to be posted. At the same time, as cliche as it sounds, I would submit a support ticket and i would include:
All that you can find.
Operating system 32/64 bit
amount of memory
video card
processor type/family

Just in case it is an issue with the patch and certain platforms, cause they will need enough reports of it to determine it is a platform/compat issue. Though i think that is less likely.

Yeah, I know I'm late to the party, but I just wanna say, I'm super exciting about the Magic Wardrobe thing (aside from the name O.o) I've played other games that use a similar feature, and this will be so nice for sharing and using my costume pieces. I can't wait to get in a try it out

wrong.. i jsut tried it the gear has to be aggregated or a costume before u can even put it in the wardrobe.. sigh
