So the costume piece has to be aggregated before you can put it in? Or is it just normal armor that has to be aggregated? I'm confused now.

What can be used with the Magic Wardrobe?
  • Item Shop costumes can be inserted for free while Crafted or dropped equipment requires 1 Advanced Aggregator.
  • Any armor piece (including wings) can be set in the Magic Wardrobe.
  • Weapons, Offhand-Items and Accessories can NOT be put into the Magic Wardrobe

Hope this helps :)

i'm still a little confused, but I'm still at 30% update... the wardrobe, does putting in a piece of gear take the appearance of the item? Or does it take the item itself, and you no longer have access to trading or selling it? Basically, does adding an agg to the wardrobe make it "permanently unlocked"? And switching to something in the wardrobe, does that replace the gear that you're currently wearing? Or does the armor your wearing "temporarily" assume the appearance of the item in the wardrobe, while still maintaining it's attributes?

This. You can keep the statted equipment you are wearing, the wardrobe outfit is just replacing the appearance. So you do not need to use an aggregator again when you find better armor. But you will need aggregators to put non IS-equipment into the wardrobe slots.

Unless I'm mistaken, it's just like a costume tab in some other games (or like an aggregator in this). You keep the stats of your gear but the look of the costume piece. And it seems to me that when you put it in, you can't take it out.

@Dionaea - I checked out the guide, but gigi's post had me confused. :P

that's pretty cool, I have my housemaids all wearing different CS wardrobe items, so it'll be nice to have some extra room for some other things on them

I'm sure a wide variety of players beyond "women and gays" will use/enjoy the magic wardrobe feature, and I'm also sure there will be women and/or gay players who will not use or care about magic wardrobe or the styling shop.

I don't wanna sound ungrateful, I really do love the new wardrobe feature, but I'm a little saddened that there is no off-hand slot for aggs. I can understand that weapons are not included here, as they're not really considered "wardrobe," and by that same ideal, what's carried in your offhand shouldn't be included either... but by all other accounts in the game, shields and tailsmans are considered armor. Search for them on the AH, they're listed under armor, try to plus them, they use the armor gems... it would be nice if we could include them in the "armor-only wardrobe" feature.

LOS issues? or is Magma Blade now functioning like all other ranged skills?

That would be my guess. I'm waiting to see if anyone is able to get into siege tonight and if it still goes though the gate.

I would like to request that the popup about private messages be removed.

When you agree to the Terms of Service, as they currently stand, you are agreeing that any and all actions you take within the game (including private messaging) essentially become the property of Frogster/Runewaker and are subject to scrutiny per the Terms of Service.

In short, the popup is kinda redundant, and it's one extra thing I have to load and click on to get into the game itself, which is annoying. May I ask what prompted the addition of this particular popup?

I've logged in, taken a look at the magic wardrobe, and I return with feedback....

Excellent work, guys! This is a huge step in the right direction. The terrible impermanence of nearly all CS purchases has long been a major reason for me not to buy more, and this removes that aspect from skins at least. Well done! To this point I've seen skins as a luxury, where upgrades are a 'necessity', but I know where my purchases will be now that skins are more lasting. Keep it up! Copied or not, IDC--this is a good thing, and I give kudos to all involved!

we can only hope that NOTHING works through gates now. now, if they could make it so you can't melee someone on the other side...

and heck yeah, this is gona be epic having all the different possible aggs :O

though forewarning: i suggest you all start RIGHT NOW keeping tabs on people's equipment, because the moment this thing decides to go haywire and eats someone's gear and they come out with a blank agg, there will be a lot of anger x.x

A bit of clarification. If you currently have a piece of gear with an aggregated skin on it, you cannot just place it in the wardrobe. The notes do actually say, "an advanced aggregator is required". I did not test this aspect, but have no reason to doubt it, but I did test and confirm that a current skinned piece of gear will not go in.

I had several pieces that had CS skins on them, and they went in just fine. When I tried to put them in, I got a message saying something to the effect of "The item will be destroyed and the CS costume will only go into the magic wardrobe" but when I hit ok, it just popped right in. So...?

Yeah...now pop it back out and see what it looks like, are the Stats/Plussing/Runes still there?
