The new system works really pretty darn well, even if it is not compatible with one of addons that I liked (StatCompare). Understandable, though, StatCompare pretty much redefines the whole interface in that part of system.

And this is from someone who generally doesn't care about costumes. Well done.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

I have been giving Frogs and Runewaker some much deserved criticism as of late too, but i have to praise them on this feature. Very well done Froggy and RW. I think this is a very nice feature, well thought out and implimented, job well done. I never sieged last night but i heard it was working, well done again. Lets keep the momentum going Froggy, give them our good feedback and encourage them to keep it up.

Ok to stick your costumes into the wardrobe you need to open your character sheet. Next look at teh upper right corner and you will see a new button there. Press it (I already forgot the name of it due to beign so happy over the addition). Now once that is open you see a new screen. Now press the button that looks like a coat hanger in the bottom right corner. That opens the wardrobe. You can stick up to 100 vanity items in there (I could use several more cause I and a costume adict). Now you have 5 buttons on the bottom of the character sheet that are not red. Press one and stick your costumes into their respective slot. Press ok and then you can show off your new clothes. Coloring them is jsut as easy, just click the little bar next to teh piece you want to color, choose the color and press OK on both teh color sheet and the character sheet. I love that they made that free.

Keep up the great work Frogster adn Runewaker you are actualy making this game worth playing again.

I know how to use it with item shop gear, but what I dont know is how to put a piece of dropped gear into the Wardrobe bag or do you still have to agg them like before.

While searching the EU forums, I found a macro to open the wardrobe.
It alleviates the issue of the Inventory Viewer button being in the way.

Credit goes to Agenusha (EU Mentor):

Since Inventory Viewer's button overlaps the button of the Wardrobe, there is a way to open directly the ward robe by using a single macro. Just create a macro with this code :

Source code

1
/run CharacterFrame:Show(); OpenCoolSuitButton_OnClick(); CoolClothBagFrame:Show();

This code will open the character frame, the ward robe, and will show the ward robe bag.

I could not find any instructions anywhere, but in my attempt, i did get the message that an advanced aggregator was not present. So, I assume that I needed to have one, perhaps in inventory....not willing to try yet, but I assume someone will come along to enlighten us. Regular aggregators were on sale, so in my own foolishness i assumend that that was all that was required, even though in the patch notes it says "advanced".

What I did that did not work, so you can avoid this. I had a pair of Clops boots that I liked the skin of. I used a regular agg on a pair of vendor boots, and tried to drop that in the inventory. That is when I got the red message that, "an advanced aggregator is not present".

My next step would normally to purchase an advanced aggregator and do......what? I don't know, so I will wait.

Just drop the item in. It will ask for confirmation (since it will remove stats, etc). Click yes, and boom it is in.
I put a set of bunny ears in that had been aggred with a white item. Got my bunny items free again. I don't remember if I had an advanced aggregator on that toon though, but I'm pretty sure I didn't.

step 1: have an adv aggr
step 2: put your normal gear into the wardrobe
step3: click OK
step 4: you have one adv aggregator less

I really love this feature, the only thing I would like added to it is class recognition so that I don't have to keep swapping costumes around when I swap gear :)

Thank you, so the adv aggr just needs to be in your inventory somewhere?

This makes me wonder. I could make an alt under my account to get the silverspring mage set again. However, my advanced aggregators are on my main toon. Would I be able to use those aggregators to pur the silverspring set from another toon on my account into the wardrobe?

If not, my only options are buying the aggregates or having the alt buy 4 normal aggregators.

So, once we use an advanced agg to get an item into the wardrobe, we can now use that skin as many times as we want, free of charge?

From what I have tired on my private account. As long as you have that item in your wardrobe you are permitted to display it any way you want and dye it on spot.

This feature made me extremely happy and it's always nice to be able to change my appearance without much effort or cost.

Best part of it, all your toons on the same account share warderobe, so all of them can use that skin, making adv. aggr well worth the money. (too bad on my main account I have only 1 toon :D)
