They don't have time to fix this game, since the most of their decent programmers are off making newer games, such as Dragon's Prophet. Why fix this game when you can pool your resources to make a better game from scratch?

However, if you fix this game, the cash flow would continue unabated. People still play older games, but they stop playing when they're not fun anymore. Crashing and lack of a working siege is making this game not very fun anymore.

Why still posting on the forums?

Every time someone quits an mmo the feel the need to make a post about how great it is to quit. They finally have time to go rock climbing and mountain biking and bungie jumping.

Really, dude, you're going to sit on a couch and watch TV like you did before you played mmos.

and why are you still posting on forums?
I still play the game on an almost daily basis. I think it's silly for people to go on and on about how they quit months ago and how great life is. If people don't play the game, then why bother to Q.Q on it's forum?

I will assume this comment was directed at me, instead of Mel, since I'm the one you replied to.

I wish you had read the other 90% of my post instead of just a couple of lines, as there is a lot of relevance and truth there shared by many people. In fact, it replies to the subject at hand entirely, including reflecting on some of the reasons why I lost interest to expand upon Mel's. This game has a long history of losing players, but bringing in just enough to keep it going. If Frogster had owned this game I'm certain they could've built an empire out of it. The concept of running a game with a "man behind the curtain" philosophy as Runewaker does doesn't hold water.

To answer your question directly, I still check in every now and then, more out of habit than anything else. Maybe once a day, couple of days, weeks, whenever I think of it, I'll pop in just to see the smile on your happy face. And for future reference, you might want to consider reading posts in their entirety. Believe it or not, some of us do post with the intent of doing more than just raising our post count.

I read the whole thing, only had the single question. When I quit something, I quit. done and done. I don't do a random flyby and drop a steamy pile of bitterness every now and again.
