By the sound of forums, it was a bug and fixed within a few hours. Sadly, I was not online during that time. I just checked forums this morning and saw what happened. I am bummed I missed out on it, although hopefully it means prices of stuff will drop.

Can't find the post about this...where did you get the word they're rolling back the servers? I did see that the tech issues this morning caused some folks to experience a rollback and that they will be compensated via 20 Ds for their losses, if any. (http://forum.us.runesofmagic.com/showthread.php?t=69321) Still can't find the announcement that FEU is intentionally rolling back, though. *puzzled*

They didnt "rollback" the diamond fiasco, they only removed extra diamonds, but no server data was rolled back... Now was it? so that would not constitute a rollback. Merely an adjustment on diamonds per account, that could be adjusted. You still didnt give one time that they rolled back. Not even during the massive daily resets either. I have never in the time i have played seen a reset, so being fearful of something that never happened is low. The only time i remember them TALKING about is when the chests all got cleared, and they decided not to.

If they do a rollback and roll back palenque for no reason ( b/c we weren't affect by this cash shop gasha fiasco) It might be the last straw for me. BUT, you guys get rollback and I'll laugh b/c it's taking an adantage of a "known bug" like duuping items. We all know how wellt hat went with Impenetrable back in the day, althoguh i hear theres a guild doing it now that hasnt got in trouble yet..

This isn't the first time this has happened. It happened this time last year too oddly, but it was on a rune Gasha package instead. There wasn't a rollback for that though.

There was a roll back a few months back. Whatever you did with diamonds or gold didnt get saved on the server, so everytime you bought something and logged out and back in you'd have you diamonds or gold back. This went on for a good 6 hours or more. Eventually there was a rollback.

It isnt taking advantage of a "known bug". The gashas say you can obtain all items. The end. If the gashas were giving us something like 5 million gold per gasha, or anything NOT listed in the gasha, THEN it is a "known bug". Either way, I doubt a rollback will happen. They have no doubt hit the first sales spike without double diamonds in a very long time. Nothing good can come from a rollback. Enjoy filling those charms people

No where does it say that you WILL gain the 7 items for free, it says you can. Your point? In my opinion we are just really lucky. Rollback if you please, but understanding that by the time they rollback, everyones levels gained, items sold, cards dropped, etc etc etc etc etc will be lost. If anything thinks THAT is a good idea, they should be fired from frogster immediately. Because that WOULD be the last straw for a lot of people. CAN obtain all the items= it's legit. Noone has done anything against the TOS. We simply purchased items from the item shop.

To clarify, the only rollback occurred in October of last year. Someone duped alot of gold and bought literally everything in the AH. The game would have been crippled by this. I think the FM is eluding to the the fact there will be no rollback, so everyone go about your day and enjoy.

I also recall this week Nytefall telling romage that the vast majority of players like Gashas. This weekend I sure do.

I jsut find it kind of absurd that ALL the other servers got this bug, And nothing was done about it as to where our server didn't get jack >_> whether it was a bug or not.

I'm not suggesting a rollback b/c i wouldn'twant that for our server either IF it happened, I'm jsut asking for a palenque server exclusive SALE not an eent.

Yup, same thing. I was talking in Raid Call with friends about it and said we had had a runes sale that showed a "maybe you will get" but it gave one every time. That was not rolled back

I remember two roll backs, the one a short while ago, and one quite a while before that. I remember that one because I stayed up all night leveling so I could wear my new gear, dinged, went to house put it all on, ran out killed a few mobs to test it out, then went to bed.
Logged in again after too little sleep, and I was back in my old gear. It was like 'what the???? I know I didn't dream that!

I do agree, a roll back would be a bad move, I know many people bought diamonds specifically to get those gasha's.

It's all pixels, it won't cost frogster another dime to let it it go, and would toss a lot of goodwill out the window if they rolled back.
