partial nudity?

Mea nd my wife want to start playing this game, but it says it has partial nudity, we cant find any info online about what it is. Does anyone know?

In many raids and runs lag exists. To reduce this lag many players remove some or all of their clothing as it contributes to the lag especially the wings. This gives the appearance of semi nude characters.

Not sure why that (partial nudity) would be problem with your wife and you.... You guys shy? :D

I would say something like this harpy is probably as nude as you get.

I have young children as well, and no problems... except when on screen are those end gamers who stripped harpy from her cloths and are parading around... :D

Game has some gore, some monster can be kids nightmare, so nudity would be least worry....

@vfwiffo - How did you know I had hapries on mind?? :D No wonder I was long into L50 until I moved to fly garden. :D They look much better then gardener... :D

The game itself is relatively "safe" in terms of content you don't want children to see, but some players have very dirty mouths. That's the only thing to look out for.

100% agree.

The chat filter for this game, even when active, catches maybe 1/4th of all profanities at best.

Its a very odd chat filter that will filter out non-obscene words which are like local slang obscenities in small town french-speaking Canada, but displays words that would not even be suitable for cable television.

So if you have any concern with your children nearby picking up on the (sometimes) near non-stop strings of obscenities coming from the world chat trollkids, you may have to download a 3rd party plugin to disable world chat when they're nearby.

Besides the filter not catching many of the naughty words, people tend to know which words they are and use alternate spelling or other ways to evade it. There are filter addons, but only so much you can do. I do wish that some innocent words like "cave" or "bite" were off the filter, but hey... there are other priorities.

And then there are cases where game censors its own content. For example, this quest, where you are trying to find out certain aspects of gazelle population by analyzing certain aspects of their... ummm... digestive leftovers. Game filters that word.

Or a quest where you are attempting to assist human infiltration team checking on gnoll tribes, and you need some ways to fool the gnolls' sense of smell detecting human smell. Let's just say I hope that team has good access to showers. :p

After looking at that picture, maybe harpy will be our new race? awesome :) xD

On topic, not many offensive things in game, some funny, like Indy, Anna, Jones in Ystra, or whatknot.

However players are the most offensive thing in this game. And my Typing.

The game itself is fairly tame, but some players go on a rage after Siege or just to try and avoid the filters. If you really want to avoid the worl chat jsut join a guild and swap to the guild only chat window, but even doing that is not perfect if you ahve some childish jefk in the guild with a potty mouth. Have fun with RoM and enjoy your stay with us.

combat log chat window is safe. wont see any chat. watch out for the valentines promo costumes. they make toons look nude. but like barbie and ken nude. safe imo.

hehe with the Wedding Packages they added this and this for post-wedding activities. This isn't really a problem but for male toons beside the thing I think but for female toons it is actually quite revealing. Also there are people in the game that can be a little...suggestive.
