It's normal and reasonable for consumer to expect a fair value. There's even some guys that won the Nobel Prize for economics on "zero sum game theory". This is the fundamental theory that economies may thrive when the exchange of goods and services achieves a balance where there is no waste rather it be in favor of the consumer or in favor of the business. This type of theory has been put to use already in guiding corporate executive pay structure in aims to ensure adequate reward for top execs while ensuring that shareholders and the business itself safeguard against economic recessions. But I digress...

The point is this: Players shouldn't pay if they don't feel there is value. Frogster may or may not adjust dependent upon how important various revenue streams actually are.

why does it always end up with the f2p vs p2p? this horse is dead, there have been some good suggestions made and some not so good ones.in the end nothing will happen cause froggy has their head in their clavens. some non power type perks for players that pay wouldnt hurt the ftp players.it seems to me that thise thread should go /closed. there will be no ftp players when all the p2p players leave for good.this will happen due to poor support and fail events.

Just a thought but you cant separate p2p and f2p players anymore with ingame stuff. reason? a lot of f2p players buy zeevex from p2p players with gold and thus are actually "buying" diamonds. Also that kinda negates locking rubies as pointless... it would generaly hurt the brand new f2p players more then anything.

I remember seeing similar arguments, back in '09. I'm sure when the game finally does collapse you, and other doom-sayers, will gladly pat yourselves on the back for your "sound reasoning." But the truth is the game is still fun for a lot of people, and as long as that holds true the prediction will invariably fail. Many of the paying players from that era are gone now, replaced by others. It's a good bet that when the current crop of paying players leave they too will be replaced.

As for the F2P and P2P arguments, it's more a product of the class warfare present in our own society manifesting in our pastimes, same as it's always been.
