one removes all stats from a piece of gear, the other removes selected stats and turns it into a stone... could be wrong about that... O.o

What the heck is "Equipment Attribute-Purifying Stone"?

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

What it does you right click it, opens a window, you insert the piece of gear with stats on it and it permits you to choose which one you want removed. The one removed disappears and is lost.

Really, the only way it is useful is if you have a stated, but not tiered, piece of gear and you want to change one Stat. You could clean off the bad Stat and replace it. In reality, it is not particularly useful because you still need 3 stones to add back that single Stat. The random extractors are the better way to handle.the same situation if only they were for sale.

how bout using it to clean off those absolutely TERRIBLE stats that come on mem accessories? I'm pretty sure that's what they had in mind when they first came out with those things...

[1] Attribute-Purifying Stone deletes ALL stats off an item. The "cleaner" we have known for over a year.

[2] Equipment Attribute-Purifying Stone - deletes ONE stat off an item. you CAN choose which one. you will NOT get a manastone with the chosen stat! Uses 1 Transmutor Charge to do it. - May be useful sometimes, but cost per stone was the same as the Attribute-Purifying Stone which makes it a total waste of money to buy single ones of them. In an otherwise attractively priced package it may be even useful. I still cannot see any practical purpose for this one, others may. But beware of the pricing and do the math beforehand.

[3] Random Attribute Extraction Stone - will *extract* one random stat off the item. you WILL get a manastone with the stat on it. you CANNOT choose which one (see "random"). Uses one Transmutor Charge to do it.

And no, no additional purified fusion stone is needed to get the stat - frequently asked question ;-).
Probably one of the most useful items introduced since ABL, price was around the normal price of a purified fusion stone.
Short: this item allows you to get rid of stats you do not need anymore on the item AND keep BOTH stats AND item.
Finally you can have the cake AND eat it ;)

For the current offer this weekend:

[1] is available as single item or as 5-pack.
[2] is available in the package with the ABL and fusion stones.
[3] is NOT available.

Do not mistake [2] and [3] for each other, they are totally different.

compare [2] and [3] with what you want to do ;-)

[2] will just DELETE the stat. Cost for a single stone was around 199 Dias.
[3] will extract the stat and give you a manastone with the stat on it. On Shell/Memento Gear Lvl68+ that gets you a Tier 5 Manastone ;) Cost for a single stone was around 40-50 Dias (39 in EU, same as a puri default price).

Still want to use [2] ? :)

Excellent info Yoman, maybe they will add that to the next time they sell them. And maybe next time they will also offer the Randoms :)

i see what you mean yoman... but if they dropped the price of 2 under that of 3, I'd be all for it... I mean really... nobody uses dex/matt... that's even worse than dex/mdef...
