to be honest people get excited when they see XP... if it was only meant to be a TP event she should have just said TP. It would have saved a lot of confusion and frustration.

European servers have the same TP Bonus as US has.

It will start at 5pm PDT today, 333% TP-Bonus on killing mobs.

Now it sure did not remain unheard that you want a XP Event, this has already been forwarded. When the decision for a XP Event is made, we will be more then happy to announce it. And I highly doubt with Tourney event and all you can really say this is all about the money, this is about an anniversary to celebrate and so far I got tons of nice feedback during the event on the servers. Of course we can not make everyone happy and I do take the feedback that your high(er) expectations have not been met fully enough. I am sorry that you see it that way.

I gladly collect all your feedback and also your criticism of this years anniversary, events and anniversary sales, but it is not all black and white and please try to remain constructive in your feedback

I just feel so far, after this anniversary week, like sitting down with RoM and explaining that "I love it, but im not IN love with it".

I'm getting really tired of being disappointed by this company again and again. If they keep this up they won't have any players for Chapter 5.

Well I'm going to do the only thing I can, which is stop spending money on the game.

Hey you never know the GMs may be too busy playing chapter V chanting to themselves "this will shut them up" .... while ignoring the complaints/players.

Feedback is forwarded so be patient and wait, maybe on the 4th or 5th anniversary (if it will be the case) the people who will still play will have some XP event.

There really isn't anything wrong with a TP event exactly but they got to make it come from quests. Not many people are willing to go out there and farm mobs like crazy.

You know why I started this game, other then the dual class I played because it wasn't a grind fest, I don't have alot of game time so I like the streamlined leveling.

Ok, so. We have an anniversary event. Three whole years of RoM.

Let's do a quick head to head comparison of this year vs last year:

Last Year: Permanent Lucky Frog
This Year: Chance to get a temp/perm Cactus

Last Year: Gashas and Certificates
This Year: Gashas and Certificates

Last Year: 5x XP, 2x TP
This Year: 3.3x TP

Last Year: Various flash dia sales, up to an accidental 5x
This Year: Various flash dia sales (fewer of them), highest was 200%

Last Year: 5x dia fiasco
This Year: Hackersville

Last Year: GM's said hi
This Year: Tourney (which I tried to participate in, but the poor lonely GM sent to Palenque didn't speak much English, and a lot of us didn't know what s/he wanted us to do to get registered).

So, is this superfail? Or epicsuperduperfacepalmfail?

Now, I don't recall what sales were in the item shop last year, but I do distinctly remember spending 21k worth of dias in an afternoon, so I think they were pretty good. This year- not so much. I think I've spent maybe 3k's worth on Enhanced jewels. That's all that's been worth buying really. No ABL's, no Puri's, no Extraction stones- not even any transport runes or golden repair hammers outside crappy overpriced packaged. Eurgh. Not even a special mount or wings even.

All I know is, I am sitting on unspent dias, and I would like to spend them on consumables or daily tickets, assuming they relent and give us the extra XP we've all been demanding.

I too was under the impression that we'd be getting extra xp, since Dio inadvertently said we would- it seems stupid not to when we were used to frequent XP events back in the FA days.

Lemme break down why extra xp is a good idea from a business perspective: Low level toons spend few dias. High level toons spend lots. High level toons mod gear. High level toons need lots of consumables. Low level toons need none of those things- they need a perma mount. Daily tickets cost dias too, and many many people would have bought lots if we had had extra XP.

Now, 5x XP was too much, I won't deny it- but 3x XP or for heaven's sake, even double XP wouldn't break anyone's toon.

No one could have predicted the dia fiasco last year, and no one could have predicted Hackergate this year- but they could have spent a few minutes thinking about the ramifications of downgrading the value of most of the anniversary events. Where are our good sales? Where are our good dia specials? Where is our bonus XP? Apparently they left it back in 2011. If this is the new face of RoM- I have to say it looks pretty fugly.

That was the first appearance of VII runes in item shop and at a killer price of 59/79 dias. Previously, the best realistically available runes were V or less, and there were only few of them, so this was a major power bump. It did not hurt that many of them were packaged with egg rice dumplings; a valuable food that is only available from GMs any other time.

While the sale became less exceptional as time went on and the same runes showed up at same price (albeit without dumplings), it was a very well received sale. Diamond fiasco ruined the celebration, but overall, people were pretty happy at the time.

I think this event is a bit more planned out then most, but the bare essentials are lacking, no xp multiplier? wtf. The event itself even seems to be broken, tonight frog tornado bugged out on Govinda and we ended with the 2 tornados becoming 6, and random stds to all present. Happy birthday rom!!!! oh, and by the way, don't get hacked. other than that, happy birthday!

Ok people, let's give them the benefit of the doubt and admit they aren't reading the regular forum sections. Let's make some nice thread in Constructive Feedback area and tell them why we want double XP weekend and show them that it's benefiting both players and Froggy. Let's hope the thread gets forwarded, someone who can take decisions reads it and we will have our double XP weekend.

I have tried things like that but sometimes my posts get edited because of names of other games and four letter words and such little minor details.

If I were to write something like, "The publishers of Runes of Magic are killing this game. GW2 is soon going to launch and there is going to be a mass exodus of players hoping to find an awesome experience elsewhere! Thanks for nothing you jackarses! Get your heads out of your arses and start listening to your customers!"

It would probably end up looking like I had written, "The publishers of Runes of Magic are awesome! Thanks for listening to your customers!"

comeon guys there is nothing you can do by saying all this in forums any more. All players should have understand this by now. The current management of EU servers really not worrying about players or they dont have any idea of how to run this game. We are recieving the same events and item shop sales from EU servers. Only thing US servers gm/cm can do is forwarding our requests to the right team. In the end of such big thread we all see a post from moderator/gm about sending request of bonus xp event.

If a management cannot even provide a small bonus xp event(which so many players asking from long time) and nice sales before everyone starts qq in forums how can they successfully run this big game. So this would be like every player have to qq in forums everytime to get what they need like nice sales, events etc.

The best way to get their attention is not buying diamonds until they do what exactly players want. So i am not going to spend my money in this game even if they gave 200% or 300% diamond offers.
