Hacked Accounts

Just a few moments a go Serenitymk (complete with a gm tag and all,font etc} approached my guildy with claims of him duping. Seconds later he statrs saying the same thing to a person in wc. GM's dont even work on sunday--so we can exepect more hacking our forecast :(

Hackers now able to create GM accounts it seems.

Someone appears to have created a GM account on Artemis and is currently threatening to ban people if they don't hand over personal information.


By the way, im fully aware I'll most likely be banned for making this post but so be it. If you guys want to go right ahead.

Name of the fake GM (and its a FULL GM ACCOUNT) is Serenitymk.

But hey, don't worry, we've all been told there has been no data comprimise.

What we can expect is that thread will get closed and that they will say the problem is on our end just like how tuna is saying we are giving out our password and login info. This is a huge joke to them.

One would think that as a Mentor he would actually be saying things that are correct, but it seems that posting completely false information and deleting posts of him being corrected is more stylish. You guys may want to consider sending a complaint about him to a CM, I did this and even went higher up the chain.

Well we have seen a lot of false info being told to us and froggy does not care, even the attitude is douchey. An apology goes a long way but I doubt we will see it.

Well I'm fully chilled about it. It probably is an actual GM that has gone rogue. Stranger things have happened back when I use to play Corum Online before it was closed down by Gpotato. I was one of the lucky few who could make classes that had access to class only specific skills and spells. I had a lvl 65 Fighter with Sorceress only Skills it was pretty beast.

This GM isn't guilded with Frogster, has different levels than a regular GM and is asking personal information (which it states in most EULA's that will never happen.)

LOL. Now we can tell tuna that gm's are giving out their log in and password info. But hey they won't admit it because it's a bannable offense.

And if by chance the hacker who is causing chaos would be so kind to push the triple xp button I will send you 1 gold piece.

That GM was taken care of though. I noticed the Server did not shut down at 5 AM Eastern time when he/she announced the Server Shutdown.

It appears they've got bigger fish in the pond to fry now than us. I'd pity Gameforge/Runewaker, except it is their fault for failing to take the situation seriously.

Funny thing is that this birthday has been forgotten and instead will be forever remembered as the week a hacker was more active than froggy and how froggy blamed us saying we handed out our login and pass info. At this point I'm sure I may get banned and this thread closed but......

Vitorrio you should see of better days and turn thoughts to action. Instead of blaming the system make an appeal to it. They would have to be totally ignorant to not hear your plea. And on a Brighter Note, Frogster is doing all that they can to prevent an outbreak I can reassure you of such. Frogster will make amends for their mistakes and players as well. This Week/End was dreadful, next Week will be a new Week and I am 300% sure it is going to be wayyyy better (:
