Tedrial and another got hacked on indigo last night, tedrial is still spamming at varanas rez point. both of these players were inactive for a while.

Well I think I too may have bitten this particular bullet, I only had maybe one megaphone on Arkana, possibly more on Radiant... apologies for any spam.

Ticket submitted.

Update: As of last night got my account returned to me, thank you support. Only changes were my main and old main were moved to WC and the megaphones on my old main had been used up, all gold appears to be present and correct as well as the megaphones on my actual main. My cousin's account had also been compromised losing its gold but since he had no megaphones would've gone unnoticed by other players and as such wasn't suspended. Point being, that even if you think you haven't had your account compromised there's a chance it still might have been.

Lol so over 2 weeks later they finally recognize I was hacked then promptly reset my PWs (which I had already done) and close my ticket without returning my gold/items... wth?

Another person getting hacked on Govinda, spamming world for hours last night :(

If some of the posts suggesting that the hacker is doing this as retailation against Froggy is true, I have to say this is one smart hacker, because he's probably counting on the fact that the communication between players and Froggy is not very good, so players will definately be very upset thinking Forggy doesn't care.

And of course, Froggy is not known for being generous when compensating lost items, another factor for players being unhappy. In the long run, players that support Froggy less wil hurt Frog more than them haking Frog directly.

People getting hacked pretty consistently all day. Would go a long way and show a lot of goodwill if we could see an official response and action.

grimoru, I understand the hope of everyone who is getting hacked for a fast solution. But still the correct way is for affected players to contact support and for everyone to keep the advices in mind we already gave.

Our supporters have the tools and can assist hacked players with regaining control over their accounts and their stuff back after verifying the account ownership and that a hack occurred.

You can't shut down their ability to WC or give them a 3 day ban or something? World Chat has been spammed all day by the goldsellers site. Guild chat, trade, zone chat all getting more than a bit nervous right now.


Also - Megaphones on sale? omg, bad timing. as bad as the chests going on sale when peoples were missing.

They can, Ithiel used to personally come in and shut hackers down, even when not working you could find him. Late one evening Pun got hacked, I pm'd ithiel and he was on in minutes shut the hacker down.

That is the sort of service I will pay good money for.

8:12 p.m. And another.

8:23 p.m. Another.

Is support coming on to take care of this? Does this person's account really have to run out of megas and diamonds before ROM responds to this?

Can we please have some attention on Artemis? Do we at least merit a GM watching the server, online and present to stop this when it starts?
