Reni lost a fairly well loved and respected member of its community tonight, thanks to someone's need to create a lot of strife in the game for either Gameforge/FrogsterEU or Runewaker. Or all three.
This is the fourth person in my personal circle of friends to have been affected. And they are no longer targeting only smaller players. I cannot imagine the chaos it will create if one of the leaders of Heretic, EDH, XGuardians, Phoenix or Noteworthy (or really, any of the up and coming guilds) has their account drained.... or if all of them do.
Has anyone attempted to communicate with the person/s responsible for the attacks on the accounts?
. If you think you are vulnerable.../format/reinstall everything on your pc everyday and you will be secure
. Also create new accounts and transfer everything to the new char to be sure you are up to date with servers holding data...

Govinda's a mess. Spammers all day long from before 8am est. and still going on.
I have no idea why I'm bothering posting here. I wish this wasn't happenening.

Yeah, people that get hacked have only themselves to blame. If you don't want to get hacked don't use your computer. If you think you are vulnerable.../format/reinstall everything on your pc everyday and you will be secure

Basically its probably gonna take a year to secure the servers/RoM, just gotta look back at how fast they handled previous things, and how fast they currently handle things.
If they can't solve the problem, maybe just cut RoM off completely and put everyone on RW's new game??? Better to have 1 really good product than 1 rundown product and a lackluster 2nd product.

Nope. The only solution for *you* is to disconnect from the InterCatzWebz, then take a sledgehammer to your overpriced toaster. This would serve two purposes. First, you would be absolutely secure from being hacked. Second, we wouldn't have to read your drivel.
What you know about how these accounts are being accessed, or your favorite rant about "Frogster's servers have been compromised by a data breach" can be fit into a carbon nanotube, with plenty of room left over for similar claims made by others to be inserted.
. I am a customer as many others on here, it is a customers right to know they are getting a quality product and that their information is given proper security. You expect people to stay quiet about a rather serious security issue??? If people stayed quiet and never spoke up, then society would be dull and there would be no progression in customer service/products/technology/beliefs etc etc.
