Hacking your stats up? It looks like it can happen

Tonight on Indigo there was a lvl 51 priest (no secondary class) running around in full logar gear! 0 dur on everything (and no stats). What makes this even more interesting was that if you look at the server rankings, this is what his/her stats are listed at:

14.3k dex (20th)
13.8k stam (6t)
13.2k str (7th)
14.9k int (6th)
12.8k wis (1st)

As soon as this person was brought up in trade, they immediately logged off. Would someone please explain to me, if this isnt hacking your stats, how this is possible.
