Diamond sellers, its time to become the Overlords.

On Artemis a Tosh dagger costs 110mil, yet these same F2P Tosh farmers want your diamonds for 35k per, you need to sell them 3k diamonds simply to purchase their dagger, only to give them back all of their gold.

The truth is they need us p2p players far more then we need that gear. The F2P are addicts, they play hours each day, their addictive nature makes them dependent on the CS, they are obsessed with power.

They need what we have...DIAMONDS! We control them, and with them we can control the economy, band together my twelve percenters, become the overlords and join the Evil Uprising....(Enter evil laugh)

Issue #1. Anyone can buy diamonds if they wish, not everyone can do ToSH.

Issue #2. Be happy that they sell for only 110 mil, your one of the lucky servers.

Issue #3. People buy diamonds for a reason most of the time, mainly because they are the one's addicted and wish to get the gear (of course other things too).

Don't take this the hard way, I wish for prices to always be better, but trying to start a war of diamond sellers vs end game is NEVER the right way to do it and never does anything in the end.

Se my fellow diamond sellers this is what they tell you to keep you from organizing and taking our rightful place as rulers, we are using REAL MONEY they are using time. We had to put time to make that money. We should be the ones controlling them, they should beg for the chance to buy diamonds!

regentego, how old are you? It's nice that you want to start childish wars, but nobody will bother to take part in this "war" and nobody will follow you.

You don't like what you consider high prices? Then stop complaining and go get the gear yourself.

whats the point? either both sides agree on a deal they can live with or they wont trade at all ...

it will not affect the target group at all - they adapt as usual :) want to drive prices down? theres a way to it: COMPETITON. Rather buying newest stuff for X, buy 3-4 old pieces for the same amount of X that will enable you to do what the others did before - complete the instance and get the loot yourself.

everybody in his right mind, casual gamer, diamond buyer/seller, hardcore gamer alike - regardless of their actual raiding capabilites - who uses his brain for thinking instead of trolling should just be doing a simple thing about this thread: laughing :)

^ this.

no one will ever agree on a happy medium, so this feud will never end

ok so ive been absent for a few months now, and just happen to check the forums to see the comings and goings now and then, and have found nothing of interest until now and feel like i should reply and back regento up. and idk if regento is serious or trolling, but i 100% agree.

back when i played, i did exactly what regento is talking about. i got people on Govinda to start charging way more gold per diamond (highest i think i ever sold for was 75k per). and it REALLY upset the f2p epeen leet players, but its 100% true, you nerd rage f2p players deserve to pay whatever price the p2p players charge.

the arguement is always "well if diamond prices go up, we'll raise our end game gear prices" but you f2p never lower your gear prices but CONSISTANTLY demand lower diamond prices.

the arguement is "well we can get the gear and you cant, so you have to do what we say" more or less. and funny thing is, to all those flaming regento to get the gear himself: HE CAN GET THE GEAR HIMSELF. regento's toon is a well known end game toon, at least he was to me and my guild when i warned them to stay away from him in siege lmao. and for that matter, i got my end game gear by getting it myself or buying it off epeen f2p players too, but ask anyone i bought from, i never once complained about them charging me 500m for that chappenoirs robe, but you best believe EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM, complained NONSTOP about my diamond prices

needless to say, when i saw one of those people who charged me my entire gold supply for a puppet queen's staff get hacked just the other day, i had a nice long satisfying laugh :)

regento, i stand by you 100%, always have on your opinions.

and if you're trolling, then more trollin' to u bud :D

See how fast they pounce they see the veil of their addiction their NEED is coming off. They are many, they organize well, they are afraid of you diamond sellers meeting and organizing and setting the rules.

You spent your day working to make money they spent their working , what's more valuable?

I'll say this for you, Ebi, you almost never fail to make me giggle.

I don't think I meet the requirements for evil overlords, however. I tend to give diamonds at extremely low (or sometimes completely free) prices to guildies, and try to discount where I can for players if they ask. How do I become more ruthle.... I mean frugal about my diamonds without burning bridges I might need in the future?

That is what annoys me. And I've only sold diamonds once. But when things get sold untiered, unplussed, unruned, for as much as they do and then those same end gamers are extremely picky about the diamond price. Thats annoying.

here's a thought: if you don't like the price, settle for the next best thing. a weapon from sardo can cost 10 times less (that plus you can get them with mems) and is slightly less in power than a TOSH weapon. Gear up, use that cheaper weapon, and go get your own gear for free.

Glad to make some of you giggle, am I trolling absolutely not, this is an important conversation that the majority of the population does not want us to have. Am I being silly, I'll get to that.

Why an organization called evil uprising? Well because on most servers the F2P who control the economy have formed guilds, they are heavily organized, they stagger the gear they sell to not flood the market. But notice when frogster has an amazing sale they are spamming the WC selling endgame gear.

Now what if the diamond sellers who are frustrated selling $60 worth of diamonds to player b, then buying players b's dagger off ah decide to get even. What if the diamond sellers formed a sub chat channel where they operated as a council /join Overlords, what if you had to ask to buy diamonds, what if the council changed prices based off the AH.

As for being silly, yes a bit for a reason, because I wanted to watch the seriousness of the angry replies, demanding to close the thread...

Always a method to the madness /join Overlords

This is exactly where Frogster/RW went wrong. You can't sell power AND not put a rate at what the power is worth. Part of being endgame (farming new content) is keeping others behind. It's why I take my money elsewhere these days. Why spend 100's of dollars a month to never enjoy content WHEN IT IS NEW. Only a select few can do that, and it's a joke.

I say the "TRUE Overloards" kill both sides!!! How can this feat be accomplished you ask? Remove the ability to Gift for Gold and both side become powerless. F2P elitests can't unbind and sell gear and P2Pers that throw piles of money at the game and have anything they want. P2Pers are in essence gold buyers with F2Pers being the gold sellers with a "legit tag". Both sides feed each other and to bite the hand that feeds you is not the best move. Frogster can end any war between P2P and F2P and leave both sides crushed. P2P left with no one to sell Dias to is just as bad as F2P with no one to Dias buy from.

Actually Frogster ending Gifting would actually turn many now F2Pers back to P2P so they could sell items where P2Pers would have to spend much more time to aquire that coveted gear, no more throwing Dias for quick gold. I would love to see this happen just to see how it would turn out. I can say without a doubt boths sides would be screaming for "Gifting" to be returned.

You are absolutely correct, however the numbers are staggeringly lopsided and the F2P far outweigh the paying players. There is an obvious intimidation of players who attempt to sell diamonds at a higher rate, I've seen them yelled at and called names by the F2P guilds in WC. But again the P2P can't seem to organize. 20 people selling diamonds during a great sale doesn't mean you undercut each other because trust me the other 200 players will buy all your diamonds eventually and especially if you have an organized channel to sell. Frankly im tired of seeing the f2p make the rules and dictate all prices. They NEED our diamonds, trust me they won't hold out for long.

qft.

like I said before, you work hard to get to the top and that means working your way up the ladder by doing lower instances and such to be able to get the next step up. Don't be afraid to farm temple so you can run grafu normal and grafu normal so you can do sardo and sardo so you can do grafu hard and grafu hard so you can do TOSH, etc. etc.

Ive been seeing tons of world shouts for "WTS diamonds 40k each". I've been able to buy them for 35k each. Tosh gear on our server has been selling for as low as 15m under dura, 50m over dura. Osha isn't in as good shape as Artemis per say, but we aren't far off with prices dropping every day.

EDIT* WTB Zeevex tokens 28k per. PST.
