House energy

so what happens when house energy gets depleted? like lets say u got 100 slots in your house, it cost 300energy a/day to maintain or what ever, you left the game for a month and came back with energy depleted, where do items go? do they disappear or are disabled untill you increase the energy? after that do you need to upgrade to 100 slots again back from 10 and all?

the first ten items you place (the ones in the default slots) stay in place, the rest get put in storage in the furniture tab below them.
You don't lose them. And the only way you can get them back is to open up the slots again by purchasing house energy.

Place the most important things first, and purely decorative items last

cant you just shuffle them around to pull them out of a depleted slot and back into the first 10 slots just to empty them?

Ive never tried this. but may just let energy go rather than maintain it.

I look at it as free storage I no longer really have a use for. If it's in there it's not taking up space in my storage, if I want it back, well it isn't really that expensive.

House energy is really pretty cheap, think I spent like $3 worth of diamonds and it's still good for a long while

so what i see is that i open lets say 100 slots for 27k energy, then let energy run out and lock my items, after that i have to open them up once again for 27k energy, or simply recharge energy and it will all open up on its own and wont cost nothing except 300 energy/day?

also anyone tried putting items into a chest, taking that chest out (with the items still in it) and putting it in another chest (so now ur new chest can hold 20 (20 space chests) and just use 1 house slot? then taking that chest out which has 20 full chests inside and putting it into another chest that can hold 20 of them. i think i can go forever here :D

Yes. Not only do you have to recharge your house energy you have to repurchase the slots for 300 energy each.

When you attempt to place a "loaded" chest into your bag it warns you items are in it. Game does not allow for this sadly :p like trying to get a doggy to take a bath, soon as you put it in, it jumps right out again :D
