So we do nothing to p/s cause rogues are OP? Well scouts can see rogues, that's OP, mages can one shot flame me, he's not OP he just out gears me and I have little mdef.

Its a gear mod game, it will never be balanced. But you all want use rogues as an example, fact is every other class that us not rogue with hide, gets spam killed by a priest before they ever get close. Yeah a 200k hp w/k gets dropped.

Sorry but no one should have to double or triple team a PRIEST to stand a chance.

But p/s good try running distraction throwing rogues under the bus. I've made is ignoring mdef, much like scouts ignored pdef and damage was based dex vs dex.

I sincerely hope you jest when there are items like Eyes and Visual Illusions, the Eye+Visual Illusion combo absolutely destroys rogues.

I mean normal eyes are bad, but eyes that you can't see?

Everyone acts like rogues are untouchable in siege, but it's quite the opposite, if your whole group is getting killed by one rogue you're doing something wrong.

You need to have a scout or have eyes and good scouts can easily decimate rogues.

On the other hand if you have a P/S on a tower with the proper defenses they're close to untouchable, put a rogue on a tower with the right defenses and you have a lot more work on your hands personally I believe there are classes that are for offense and defense in siege, the thing is that P/S exceeds at both really well. Atleast most of the time if I can get close enough to a mage on a tower I can stand somewhat of a chance, with P/S it's pew pew done and the same to anyone who's with me.

The one thing that I am thankful for though is that P/S doesn't have any decent bleeds, otherwise they'd be at our castle gates too.

Healers should not get heals and insane dps. It's not how it's supposed to work.

Put a 3 second cool down on it or SIGNIFICANTLY lower the damage. When you see priest/scouts whopping 86k ice blades, you know something is wrong.

If you're statted like a mage so that your iceblade is DOING 80K+ crits, then your heals are going to be next to worthless. That's an invalid arguement because the heals are nothing. As Fan said, she routinely dies to bleeds because she can't heal through them.

Why shouldn't a healer be able to do dps if statted that way? If they're statted like a dps then they will be terrible healers, and vice versa. No P/K statted p/s is going to rape anyone in siege. And honestly any rogue complaining about p/s damage is a hypocrite. When a rogue can stun you and double low blow you for over 100K from invisibility they should really not be complaining that another class can do damage.

Don't you get it Borella. The class name says priest, therefore it is illegal for it to kill anyone based on their definition of what a priest should and shouldn't be able to do. Who cares if it has like 120k magical attack with a t12 +16 mage staff..it says they got killed by a priest, how dare that happen

Knights are the tanks. Priests and druids are the healers. Now for priest/scout whether they are geared for DPS or NOT, their ice blade is

1) still spammeable
2) they still have holy aura
3) and their heals may be significantly weakened to the point they can't heal for GC and up BUT MORE THAN sufficient to fully restore themselves to max hp after killing another player.

You know my m/p can also fully restore it's hp to max after killing a player, oh and it also has holy aura...Should that mage not be able to heal itself because it is a mage?

i have played every priest combo and p/s is the only one able to kill very good in pvp,i spent alot of time and effort to get to the point that i can kill a lvl 70 when i heal i use healer gear when i wanna kil i use mage gear statted for mage.all this nerf crying is getting sickening the classes are better balanced than most people realize.(when similarly geared).
when i started i always had trouble with rogues so i put some defence stats on now not so much.i will say that the pvp system isnt as good as it could be but, to do this you need programmers and staff that care .simply nerf every skill in siege eleiminate the gear and then we will have some fun

A big NO to any more nerfs!! Rarely does a siege end without some poorly geared player singing "Hax, Hax, Haxor..." at me & I'm just a fail mage. We don't need nerfs, we need player tactic/class/gearing education!!

I have no problem with any single P/S, I buff matk & maccuracy & most go down pretty fast.

It's teamed players that I have problems killing. They force me to stop playing "Lone Ranger" & make me get my own team to take them out.

Iceblade does appear to hit faster than my instants but I think that is because my mage wastes time foolishly waving his arms around before getting down to casting.

Anywayz, this has all been said before & I just hope you people calling for nerfs don't get your wish because you are likely to see a far wider nerfing than you bargain for.

its one skill there arent that many epic p/s to begin with, its like the only priest combo with any soloability leave it alone or make one yourself or better yet instead of stacking only attack stats how about som effing wis, if u get one shot by casters its not thier fault for being OP its yours for deciding to forego DEF

Another thing.. can we not nerf the one skill I have to do damage when the only time it is in any way powerful is during the 1 hour that Siege lasts? The other 23 hours of the day P/S isn't viable as a dps class. It's a blessing that the P/K's were able to pick up scout. Have any of you ever quested to 70 as a p/k in healer gear? Here's a hint.. it really really sucks.

Im not understanding this "stack mdef" argument. Everyone benefits from Stam and gets Pdef that way. For a physical class that doesn't use Mana to have to make a separate set just to combat casters in siege is a bit much.

Only time its even viable is a r/p. Then you benefit from mdef and have your dodge buff.

Mage/priest don't have a single spammable skill, but they do have several instants that can be chained together that each do as much damage as ice blade, a couple of them have greater range than ice blade too. As stated earlier, my fireball (225 range) when playing P/m does as much damage as my ice blade, when playing M/p it does even more,also get rising tide (200) turned into an instant for M/p, so I'd say he addressed all your points.

First off, I don't play priest/scout. I hate casting spells or anything of the sort. I have a magic allergy. So I could care less, really, if they were nerfed. But I do feel strongly that P/S doesn't need the nerf.

Rogues are consistently at the top of the Players Killed category. I know as a R/S, I've never had a problem with P/S. Ever. Were they some of the better class combinations? Yeah. But never did I deem them to be OP. But that's because I sieged as an OP rogue. Mind you, it's been a couple months since I've last sieged, but I could easily take out someone who was better geared than I was as long as I got the stun out of hide.

And what decent class combo isn't good with the proper defenses up?

This and GaryL's post is pretty much exactly why there shouldn't be a nerf.

Even if it was OP, P/S damage still blows in PVE. If you nerf their ice blade due to PVP, they suffer immensely in PVE. It's not fair that, because some people can't silence or whatever your problem may be, that a whole class combination is destroyed. Nerfs are never good.

So, in recap, I strongly disagree with a nerf to Ice Blade. I also strongly am against nerfing in general, even rogues. Instead of nerfing a single class, and amongst all the classes that everyone claims needs nerfing, wouldn't you agree that maybe instead of nerfing, RW or FA should fix what is broken - and that is the way PVP is done in this game. Put some sort of debuff on everyone going into siege that says we do 1/4th damage or something, I dunno - that's the developers job to figure out. PVP shouldn't be a one-hit fest, and as long as it is, PVP can't be balanced - and nerfing classes due to PVP imbalances should never be considered due to what that means for that class in PVE.

Fate I don't have to double team any combo. I'm not talking about rogues as much as everyone who plays p/s is trying to push it there. I'm talking about scouts, wardens, warriors ECT they literally stand little chance against a p/s. Don't believe me then why so many p/s in siege? They are almost equal to rogues at this point. This is being fought against so hard because if you're not a p/s you have one in your guild you're protecting cause they are great in siege.
