X Runes

I know its Tuesday and I'm sure the sales team isn't thinking about Weekend sales yet, which is why I want to put a bug in their ears now.....

X Runes for the weekend sale please!

My last day with ROM is April 30th. I have enough gold and left over diamonds from the 3 year anniversary to get all my tier X runes.

Maybe Nytefall or Hathore can influence them somehow :cool: One last thank you for creating their signature's...

I've been waiting for x runes to go on sale for months now, seeing as i missed the last one im kinda gutted. i have so many dias saved up just burning a hole in my pocket waiting for the runes to go on sale.

Any1 willing to drop 300 diamonds for an X rune should get in touch with me... I've got some swamp land id like to sell yea cheap. Or maybe a bridge... LOL FOOLS!!!

I haven't done the math but that is what $6.50 (during double diamond) per rune. So to get all gear with 4 X runes im looking at what $400 or so? So that's what two years of a sub based game with enough cash left over to buy some mountain dew. I'll pass.

While I eminently agree with "I'll pass" sentiment, the math is off. Today (110% sale), it would take me ~$240 to get all X for all 14 pieces of standard gear (and since I am R/S, $26 more for extra weapons).

But, of course, starting from scratch and buying every single rune for every single piece of gear is deliberately fake scenario. The way I would look at it is this. With dias selling for 25k (on Reni at least), a rune would cost you 7.5mil. That is a price of a moderately decent stat, and you have 6 of them on each piece of gear. Most of them were more expensive than that, too.

And since X is the highest rune tier, you don't need to re rune everytime you restat or when new content comes out. Buy it once and you're set for life. Price is still a bit overkill though. VII runes please!! :)

Yeah Wiffo I couldn't imagine starting from scratch either. We had it pretty easy with the availability of VII runes and the fact we had them at 59 diamonds per with 500% diamonds. Glitch, fiasco, or whatever we all profited and progressed that weekend. There are the wants and needs, X runes are a want and I urge players who wish to continue playing RoM to stock up on Puris the next big sale. With chap 5 coming there will be level 80 gems, so save your diamonds buy puris and pass on X runes.

But that's my opinion.

Sadly you are not on Reni otherwise I would've bought out all your Rev X already.
