Or
You made a conscious decision to buy the sigil, either by gifting or by purchasing dias yourself. There's nothing in life that requires you to buy one to live, or to play the game.
The sigils would not be in the game if the developer did not intend for people to use them. All this does is increase the availability of the benefits the sigils offer, with no guarantee that they will last.
As far as burning bosses too fast goes, it would not be difficult at all to raise the boss difficulty level beyond what sigils and other buffs are capable of compensating for. Current game content does not allow for instant burns on strat bosses to begin with. I can name at least three that you won't get loot from if you don't follow the strat.
Wait...so since we'll have sigils, and bosses will be easy, then the difficulty of the bosses should be raised? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of purchasing a sigil in the first place? Raising boss difficulty accompanied by a sigil sale will make this, as I stated earlier, even
more Pay2Win. Those who buy the sigils...well, theyre at about the same level as they would be without the difficulty adjustment/sale of sigils. Those who dont buy sigils will be at a complete disadvantage to compete. At some point, like breakouts in SC, they (sigils) will be required in order to be on the run, which further promotes elitism and Pay2Win.
No end game bosses are "instant burn," but a lot of them are not
fun because the fight itself is very short, and the strat needed is irrelevant due to the boss being burned
quickly. Implementing sigils in the item shop will make this game WAY to easy. CS sigils are just an easy ticket to higher instances for those not geared, and will make the higher instances even less enjoyable for those who already burn through them quickly. Whatever happened to hard work, lots of farming, and statting your own gear to be in the top instances? This whole sigil thing just seems like a shortcut to me.
Also, yeah, CS sigils exist in the database, but your argument works against itself. Why are they not implemented if they exist? Because they will be too overpowered, and will imbalance the game even
further.
