K/P alt another 25% and you only need to use recon 7. However I must admit in boss fight that reset aggro like 2nd tosh, managing aggro is quite difficult without a good tank

im a bit unsure if i really want such high recon runes... but i would probably buy them if they become available. but were not getting them anyways until such threads here turn into sizes of the Mage QQ threads.

btw 6 or 7 is the usual recon size i have to deal with while tanking (and using K/P alt would be rather an emergency tool, not a standard procedure) , and even 7s are rare because EU had ShieldVI only once ever on sale.

The main problem i'd see with this is that everyone with 2 or more weapons will have negative aggro, (along with mages who also have the unharmed skill). Who would that leave for a dps who could remotely get aggro no matter how reckless they are, w/wd?

Or maybe they'll just take that into consideration and make every enemy attack an AoE so it won't matter

I'll say this for Runes of Magic overall: Adding anything to the game is, invariably, going to complicate matters in other areas.

Adding a rec X to the item shop is going to make things easier on the dps, easier for the tank, and easier for healers. If a player doesn't run the risk of ever pulling aggro from the tank, there's no real challenge left to the instances for them. As things currently stand, you start learning very quickly how to manage your aggro and skills in the event the tank can't keep up (d/c, stunned, dead, cd's, etc.)

I'm not in favor of adding Recon X to the item shop, because I don't see where the instances would still be able to present a challenge.

Like others said recon x will turn things easy and there will be no fun. The best way to solve some dps class(w/wdn) aggro problems is giving an item set skill that will reduce aggro by 20%-30%.

That right there is your problem, then. How you stat has NOTHING to do with whether or not you pull aggro. You need to use aggro reducing skills, pots, and buffs in order to not pull aggro. They're in the game for a reason, adding a rec X would eliminate their usefulness (and would hurt the alchemists who make them.)

Annoyed about pulling aggro? Then learn how you can stop doing it. It's something every class has to do in this game.
