You should see what they are saying on the EU side, this whole idea these things are worth 99 diamonds is silly, anyone who thinks it's reasonable must have more money then sense. Hell anyone who buys diamonds at normal prices should be institutionalized.

Frogster if this is some experiment to see if people will suck it up and pay normal prices for diamonds to purchase inflated CS items, I don't really think it's going to go well for you. Too many options, including your own f2p option.

we got our own "blow off some steam about it"-thread that is actually announced to vanish somewhen tomorrow. Makes people rage even more. "Here rage a bit, we dont give a F....ehm...Damn and delete it tomorrow"

The reason for all the rage is btw that we were being told that 39 were an "introductionary offer" (that happened 3 times, lol) and 59 was set to be the normal price that its going to be sold from that point it appeared for 59 on, special offers would be better.

And after being told that the next special super duper genius offer is: same stone 99 dias!

We all love to buy that way, because were all ....in' stupid, yay!

it is like gas prices. They are jacking them up so that when they then pull them down, they can put them at higher then they were but less then they are normally and hope no one really gets mad about it. I swear they are so transparent

for instance:

MAN gas prices are 4.50 a gallon WTH!!!?!?!

a month later gas prices drop to 2.40 a gallon.

We are supposed to think, whew at least it isnt 4.50 a gallon anymore, instead of remembering that a few mere years ago it was under a dollar.

Sale is up. ABL is 89. Rest are 99. In other words, 3 items at a discount, 1 at increased price. And, yes, I know, the item at the increased price is the one that people like most.

Yeah anyone who calls us whiners needs to go take a look at EU side, they are going up one side Frogster and down the other. No matter how much a Fanboi wants to defend this, you really cant, this is a straight up attempt to gouge players. Fanbois need to be the most concerned, notice no one selling diamonds, soon you will stop seeing "WTB diamonds" Players really will give up.

This is the wrong direction for what can be one of the biggest MMO's of all time, even with all the bugs. Do any Frogster executives actually play the game? And when I mean play I mean on your own dime. Try it for 2 months, then say "Sh!t we sure know how to burn people out"

The people running the game are so far out of touch with reality....Dear Frogforge, you REWARD your paying player base, you dont strap on a rubber glove and ask them to turn to the left.

Unless they redo it, to me any response will read as follows:

at this price its simply to hell with random extraction stones - therefore to hell with cheap UD gear in AH made that way. I CAN adapt to that but for that they wouldnt have needed to put those stones into the game in the first step , just to sell them for a actually consideres GOOD price 3 times then raise the price into oblivion where every customer who has a use for those stones just says <Fword> you - great idea, really.

UD item with stat? unless in deep need of clean t5 , just use the puri on the item like 3 months ago. stat will be either used or sold but oops no item is there. i see gear prices raising already without these stones

So unless I am not totally suffering from coffee lack, you got the better bargain here.
Take this into consideration and the prize differences turn out a bit different.
And on top of that, from the roughly 21 items you compared (not counting the packages), 2 are almost identical in diamonds (by 1 diamond difference), 8 are cheaper on US side and 2 rather popular ones do not exist on EU side on regular basis.
I fail to see the gouging and that is a pretty defamatory statement. Which is why i will change the thread title.
We gladly take suggestions from you how to improve the Item Shop in regards to offers and prizes.
But I would really appreciate if we could discuss on a fair, non-defamatory and constructive basis. So please go ahead and name changes you would like to see to the US IS.

In light of a new game being released yesterday, CS price increase is just the 'smartest' thing any business can do. "We're gonna lose customers but hey we care...we'll do that little bit more to push them away..that's how much we care o.<"

Wasn't gonna check the new game out but since I'd much rather spend £40 on a game that hasn't annoyed me yet than on a game that's displayed one (imo) idiotic move after another I'm gonna drive to my nearest seller tomorrow and pick one up..

That's just it some of us are here spending the diamonds we bought before they pushed us over the edge. All they are doing now is ensuring that a good deal of folks, me included, don't buy any more. There are no more superlatives to use... it's just rotten business, pure and simple.

As much as I really needed the extractors and had the gold/diamonds to get them, I decided to get none with these ridiculous 'unbeatable' prices.

LOL 39 intro price turns to 59 then 99 sale price WTF right? i think its one of those lets see what we can charge before it gets outta hand. LOL to all of you that are complaining (not that im not with you) but really we brought this on ourselves by continuing to play and pay. BUt i cant really blame them for trying to get more revenue outa the last few survivors of the where's my chest rage quit era. My advice you dont like the store dont shop there and watch it bankrupt. imagine the changes that'd be made if sales dropped 90% nothing like a punch to the wallet to get things moving

Dionaea made the quote supply and demand and will set price with that, a few months ago. Now we shouldn't have bought any of them and maybe they would have been at 10 diamonds per loll. This is bullcrap that is all it is. ROM is just trying to squeeze the most they can before shutting the game down. They screw players over on item shop items that mess up your TP and to fix it they say buy another one, it might fix it. Or typical answer we cannot verify in the database what you had or not, bullcrap. Your Programmers suck, support suck and the Dev gives it to us in the arse everytime.

You guys are on the frontline with us and deal with this, tought of becoming a GM a while back, but hell no. Your hands are tied up so tight that you are starting to give the same typical answer support give us.

Let's see next chapter we will probably have another price increase because of oil prices go up, a tornado hit somewhere or frost in Florida where your servers are. Done spending money on this game, just pointless to spend money on a broken game with bullcrap support, if there is actual support.

Supply and Demand haha, this is not a real economy. Virtual items sold in a game shop cannot apply to demand and supply because there is unlimited supply.. it just just up to us if we will pay 99 dia for the virtual item. I buy diamonds often and it would scare me if I saw how much I have already put into this game. I finally put my foot down here though that is just plain greed and has nothing to do with helping players. I really needed these items also.. If they would of had the sale with a 2x dia sale I would understand. I would really like to know why they felt the need to rip us all off. If they are going to charge 99 dia they should just keep the item in the shop all the time and then maybe we will get a real sale every now and then.
