Looks to me like they took advantage of a glitch. But dang that rogue moved fast.

wow, lots of complaining about a glitched gate. Not like it hasn't happened to anyone before. We have had sideways gates, repair gate missing and my all time favorite.... the mini gate appearing. Did we complain when the other guild came thru? no. excuse me, I will not step over that imaginary line where your gate should be.

Looks like they took advantage of the glitch. I don't believe Frogster declared that an exploit. I believe they indicated it was frowned upon, but that's all.

I think they did name it an Expliot if someone decides to get into the castle using any other means than when the gate is down. If I can find the post where one of the CM/GM's said this I will post it here. Yes the gate glitch is anoying in all of its incarnations, but some guilds are nice enough to not use it.

I have honestly never ever seen a gate glitch like that. But what an interesting glitch if it was lol I've looked all over the forums and I can't find any cases of this happening. The repair hammer missing is an old glitch but this one allows you to just run through!

Yeah, it was reported before, although I imagine it is not easy to find the thread. Glitch occurs rarely, from what I see on the forum, but not 1st time. I imagine the gate was rebuilt after taken down, and sometimes rebuild goes wrong and you get a gate that is not closed. Not a hack, just a glitch.

There might be some factor or spell that affects the gate as it goes up and perhaps opponent managed to trigger it at the time gate was re-birthing. But I doubt that was deliberate even if it is affected by the client events and not just a server glitch.

this is an exploit but as mentioned some guilds do not use it to there advantage.i have seen this happen in our sieges with both opponents and our gates being sideways.we just went to one that was normal and so did our opponents.

I was in a Siege teh other day when all 3 of the opposing Guilds gates glitched out. We just stood there discussing what to do. Then decided to attempt to take out of the glitched gates, which after some persistance we did. Still was funny to see everyone from 2 guilds jsut standing looking perplexed at the gates.
