I know some people who had items stored in their house maids go missing and followed proceedure by submitting tickets immediately only to wait 7 months to get some sort of compensation, which was not compatiable with the current end game gear and prices.
Please, get people who can do the job properly.

OK if you look and the date stamp on that Server Maintenance you will find that it was the regularly scheduled weekly maintenance from 5/21/12. I agree that all unscheduled maintenance should be posted either on the RoM official website or the US facebook page for those of us that are in the United States to make it easier for all to know what is going on.

I was just trying to highlight the fact that they can post a scheduled maintenence, but can't take 2 mins to post an unscheduled repair on the web site. I did see the date and also saw that it said ' Update: All Runes of Magic Servers are up and running again. Have fun in Taborea!

Server is down....so was the thread discussing it

Server is down atm, checked forums 10mins ago and did see a thread mentioning something about EU being down as well to fix a duping glitch.

Can we please keep at least one thread up so players know it's not their internet that is the problem since the message in login is 'Please check your connection or firewall'.

Peeps please lay off saying there'll be a roll back or anything else speculating what the downtime is gonna produce, we only end up with severe censorship of threads.

On a different topic, Patch 4.0.11:
"Fixed the bug that the damage dealt by Charged Chop, Disarmament Arrow, Thorny Vine and Stone Scale Blade can get through the wall during the guild war."
^ isn't fixed...at least not charged chop since a S/WD was still able to charge chop between walls last night in SW. I say wall but technically it was the floor between the throne room and the top of the roof in the guild castle.

I apologise for saying the thread is down had a blind moment...Oh and charged chop is still shooting through walls unless that's being fixed in the last 5mins xD

I'd like to know why Froggy uses the "connection lost, check your connection or firewall settings" message anyway. That's really confusing when you are a new player. When I first recieved that message I opened a ticket with support. Just to find that it had nothing to do with my connection OR my firewall settings. Why not put a message that actually pertains to what is really happening. Like "Servers are down while we perform maintenance", or something similar. Why haven't they changed that?

u forgot to mention the ones who lost a chest full of stuff and never got the stuff back...and Frogster deicied to give packages with a 7 slots chest when the chest lost had 20 spaces. (first chest in get in game).... Just saying..and it took 7 months before we got anything...

There was unscheduled maintenance. Our servers should be back up in a little less than an hour.

Still find nothing on the U.S. web page about the server going down except for this thread done by the users. The link to and English warning goes to a error page. At least the Spanish page link is good. Seems to be a common complaint with all the MMOs I've played over the years where the the Devs/sponsors of the game don't listen to their customers. This is the current business model in place where those in the corporate leadership know better than everyone else and refuse to listen to anyone.

As to earning money, this is the most expensive "free" game I've played. I've spent more on diamonds since starting than I've spent on another game I've played for a little over four years.
