Is there no one in at the control tower of Frogster to update the ROM web site that the servers are going down. After I couldn't log in this morning I checked the ROM web site for some clue to what's happened. Maybe there's some confusion within Frogster as it clearly says Server Maintence complete, All Runes of Magic Servers are up and Running Again. Once again the people who play ROM are shunned and left disgruntled by the inadequacy of the Frogster Control Tower. Surely, should the servers go down unsheduled, someone could take 2 mins to post a note in the Runes of Magic Web site.
I have to agree with Regentego, this is a good game and could bring in a lot of money for the owners, but they treat their customers with complete contempt. Please, take some advice and improve your customer relations, listen to their issues and respond to them asap. I know some people who had items stored in their house maids go missing and followed proceedure by submitting tickets immediately only to wait 7 months to get some sort of compensation, which was not compatiable with the current end game gear and prices.
Please, get people who can do the job properly.

I'd like to know why Froggy uses the "connection lost, check your connection or firewall settings" message anyway. That's really confusing when you are a new player. When I first recieved that message I opened a ticket with support. Just to find that it had nothing to do with my connection OR my firewall settings. Why not put a message that actually pertains to what is really happening. Like "Servers are down while we perform maintenance", or something similar. Why haven't they changed that?

Very sorry for the delay in getting you informed. I updated the news shortly after coming online myself here: http://forum.us.runesofmagic.com/showthr…2151#post532151 as well as on website.
The servers are now back up.
