I am crossing my fingers for the new cap to be LvL 75. Would make tons more sence.

I'm surprised that only 1 new endgame instance with 2 new endgame zones though.

That was normal with the release of chapters 2 and 3 - new zones were released with the instances added in later updates.

I see. I wasn't here for Ch2 and 3 release, so didn't know. But that makes sense. :)

Would be interesting if the new level cap was only 72, since they announced 2 new high level zones with Ch5 release. 1 level per zone sounds nice :D

I'm surprised that only 1 new endgame instance with 2 new endgame zones though.

only 1 endgame zone, the other is the dwarf starter zone with the instance- Taffrock Outskirts

they patched so much into the database for chaos vortex and all the gear/boss's etc, would be ridiculous to not have it active in the big update.
That would mean they updated but are purposely limiting us 0.o

From the RoM Ch5 Page:

Quoted

[h=3]Regions[/h]Face the challenges and experience the breathtaking landscapes of Chapter V’s two new regions, which can be explored individually or with fellow adventurers.
[h=3]Kingdom of Rorazan[/h]This scorched land was once ruled by the King of the Fires before his imprisonment. However, Maderoth has since freed him, destroying the Throne of Embers and unleashing a conflagration across the land. The creatures here have adapted to withstand this seething inferno - will you be able to do the same?
[h=3]Chrysalia[/h]A region torn asunder by the ravages of war. The tribes that call this land home have taken up arms against one another, and you’ll get caught up in the crossfire! Your journey begins at the last bastion of King Kalume and his alliance and continues deep into the heart of Chrysalia, following closely in Maderoth’s wake.

Not sure if the second one will be released at the start of Ch5 (although seems like it, since they've already mentioned it now), but there'll be 2 higher level zones.

I think Chaos Vortex might be another attempt at some form of public event, like the World Battlefields Bo Rift and Oslan Valley. It really would be a surpirse if they abandoned the project, because a few days ago, one of the spoiler videos showed the entire Chaos Vortex instance (and has been removed shortly after). There has definately been quite a lot of effort invested.

I thought the new instance released is going be level 72. And it's a 6-man instance. It would make sense if level caps matched instance levels 'o.0

What most likely will happen is that the new zone Chrystalia is not on initial Ch5 release. Just because it is Ch5, does not mean it will be out right away. That sounds more likely than releasing L75 and not L75 instance/gear.

Usually, the chapter release page gives us all the info on what we're getting & is updated as the new content is added.

I think it's highly likely we'll be getting both zones.

it could be this way. Currently we're thinking "Chrysalia" might be the second zone on the new map which was called "Queslana" in the data (see the map overview news from a while ago). But it still does not make sense because Ancient Kingdom of Rorazan was roughly enough to reach Level72 (accumulated quest xp)and there's definitely no Level75 instance on the way (for the Chapter V start). Whatever fashion Chaos Vortex will be implemented its clearly not a normal instance and also its not Level75. Aeternal Circle is Level72, there are no signs of "Qrich Cadaver Den" atm ... rushing out Level75 while just providing Level70 and Level72 content seems pretty pointless.

Chapter 4 release gave us 2 high-level zones...

Nobody claimed that was pointless.

Frogser doesn't always make sence in what they do or do not do. It might be we get the lvl 75 cap and 2 new zones (one zone will bring us to lvl 72+ and the second to lvl 75), like they did with TB. Saying an instance is only for one level or another is rather misleading seeing as Sardop Castle is near impossible to do with a group at the recommended level range.

Plus are we getting the whole story behind this new chapter?? We will not truly know what will be released until Frogster sticks the patch/massive bug creator into the live servers. I just hope this wont be some fluff to placate us for a bit while they attempt to figure out what to do next.

Al,t eh Hochin gear is crafted from recipes gained fromt eh old man outside the Windmill. I actually ahve them all but crafting them is useless. Noone wants the gear from there and it doesn't sell in the AH at all.

Meaning you have some right now? My Warrior and Rogue side need something good to poke enemies with... Oh wait, you're not on Osha, are you.
Ithiriz(Osha M/R/W 50/30/25), Saerimuus (Osha Wd/D 12/1), and some other Elf, Osha D/S 13/10, not to mention a few random characters on random servers that I made but that you probably won't ever see.

Sardo Castle is a Level67 instance and we got Level67 at Chapter IV right with 4.0. . And Sardo Castle was perfectly doable with Level67 and RT+KT equipment, hell some bosses could even be burned down without having GC weapons (2+3+4)...

But how amny guilds or even pugs could do it without RT gear? Most players including myself tore through NJF, LD, LOM, and Redhill. Only to get roflstomped at the first mob in TB. Me I did all those with MeM gear from lvl 65. Heck when i returned I didn't even know about teh goblin games and the shells so had to start those to gear up. Not everyone already had the endgame gear when Ch4 was fully let out of the doghouse.

How about everyone just waits out the next 9 days or so. No more speculation, the end.

current extracted db says aeternal circle, 2 modes..easy and normal. chaos vortex has its own zone identifier, 1 mode..no modifier so its "normal"? the bosses have some interesting lua scripts so i think you're right. its like a special "crafting the new and improved sets ninja'd off the less new and removed 65 moa weapons and associated gear" instance with buttloads of mentos and a surprising lack of ghost stats.

the auto-cleanT10+16 weapon is nifty. crappy stats here and there...but neato
