New lvl cap will be 72 when ch 5 first comes out, then they will make it go up to 77 in later patchs.

The dwarfs starting zone is only for dwarfs.

There will be a new slot for our 3rd class gear.

The level 72 dungeon will have total of 5 bosses. The first and last boss are always the same but the 3 middle bosses are always a random order.

Champions can be tanks or dps.

There will not be +20 gems in the item shop.

There will be lvl 60/06 65/65 70/70 75/75 elites in the future.

CHampions main weapons are hammers

Tank or DPS, the or is important. The Champion has two forms, in the tank form his strength is converted to stamina, so DPS goes way down but HP and Pdef go up. His DPS form sounds similar to Warrior.

I am glad to see they fixed it, although it took them a bit to get the live broadcast up and running.

Am slightly disappointed with the way the final boss in the AC looks. It's almost an exact duplicate of boss 3 in DOD, just with detached wings.

And really, guys, can we please stay away from guns? I get that the mechanical segment is a big part of this chapter, but if you're going to add guns, you may as well also add real tanks, grenades, mustard gas, etc. for siege war and call it "Battlefield 3".

Lmfao! Yeah, guns don't exactly go along with FANTASY. Then again, I have given up expecting common sense anymore....

In another mmo think its forsaken world the dwarfs can use guns so why not here I think it would be a wonderful addition. From every fantasy film I've seen dwarfs are naturally mechanically inclined even in Red Hill zone the dwarfs have artillery machines. Overall the concept adds that wow and fun factor to the game so lets have at it...... I got it....

Duel wielding dwarf guns FTW! I shoot you rogues and p/s muahhhhhhhhha!

This section of the live cast surprised me. It IS possible for other races to get to elven island via a portal by another player. I'd assume the same holds true with the dwarven starting area.

Making sarcastic remarks is another way of being rude and or impolite... Now why would I want to to be that way with my LadyMacV.... I know we bump heads a lot but why would I want to be rude to you?

I meant with regards to the way Runewaker might decide to code the game if Frogster sends in feedback that we want guns. You sounded more, to me, as if adding guns were a terrible idea. Sarcasm doesn't always translate well over the internet, which is why I was hoping for sarcasm in this case.

I don't want guns. If I did, I'd go play any number of other games that already have them in abundance.

Let's check the ole Wiki... "Around the late 14th century in Europe, smaller and portable hand-held cannons were developed, creating in effect the first smooth-bore personal firearm". I think 14th century qualifies as medieval times, era on which most of the fantasy is based.

Nor is ROM free of mechanical contraptions in general. Guardians are plenty mechanical. There are other "anachronisms", too. That Memory Core in Xaviera, that is not just a mechanical contraption, that is a mechanical contraption controlled by what we in modern times see as computer code.

Meh... Dwarves are pretty much set as mechanically advanced race. Contraptions, such as guns, are no big deal for them. Now, if they show up with phasers or even AK-47s, one can start raising objections.
-- Rustyx --- 92R / 92S / 92M on Reni (Guild KnightShift). Yes, running the new FOTM R/M, cause I am not elf enough to be WD/S.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

Honestly, I myself don't really have a big problem with guns as long as they're like class based or whatever.

Anyways, Black Powder in itself dates back to the 9th century so you might have even seen firearms before the 14th century.

Yeah... two coexisted for a long time. Heck, we might think of heroes of 3 musketeers as swordsmen, but they are not called 3 swordsmen.

I agree, it can be jarring. When I first saw Ran (one of Kurosawa finest movies, IMNSHO), there is a huge dramatic battle between two armies. The traditional samurai swordmanship is very much a basis of the combat, but there is a group of soldiers using guns. At first I thought it was dramatic license, but it was not. A form of guns coexisted with archery and swords for quite a long time.

And, as you mention, powder itself is quite a bit older than that, although ability to use it in personal devices was not available for a while.

And in the live cast they hinted by saying that the dwarven area would be restricted the same way that Elven Isle was restricted.

this just means there is no way to reach the specific zone "by foot".

You can just go trough a portal to Elven Island , and just open up Sturobold from there. You can then port from Varanas to Elven Island and vice versa all the time. Im willing to take bets that the same mechanic holds true for Yrvandis Hollows
