More Diamond Sales WILL NOT fix The Economy

It takes EVERY ONES help and cooperation.

Today I saw some one selling diamonds at 90k each, just because no one else was selling any at all. It is greedy people like that who have trashed our economy and it is greedy people like that who then complain about the prices of items (not that all people that complain about the prices are greedy.) The economy will NEVER be the same so stop whining about that, but we can try to keep it from getting any worse.

What WE Can Do:

Is not sell diamonds for any higher than 40k. You probably expected me to say slowly lower the price of diamonds, but that would be a bad idea, and it would never work. Unless Frogster were to add a button in game specifically for selling diamonds, and add a set price to it. As well as remove the gift feature all together (but they won’t do that.) Lets face it most people don’t have the proper discipline to wait long enough for the AH to shift lower. Money makes the world go round, in the real world and in game. Money is an issue everywhere but the game is also not nearly as big as the world. WE can fix it. The world is also much more complicated; also isn't virtual. Money will always be a problem everywhere we go; Hell! My parents are divorced because of it. But at least in game every one can have a say. Just use a world chat, (those things Kingcut loves to use) and the next time you see some one selling for more than 40k ea say something don't just sit there and let it happen or go along with it just because no one else is selling. Only WE can make a change

I don't/won't sell diamonds but if I did I would want even more than 90k each considering the real cash cost of diamonds.

As things stand, coverting diamonds bought with real cash into game gold is very much weighted in favour of those with game gold.

No aspect of this game is worth anything like the real cash we have grown used to spending on it!

Yes, more diamond sales will solve the problem, it's called supply and demand, currently there's very limited diamonds in supply because there are no sales.. most people are waiting on diamond sales to buy their diamonds, including people like myself.

You can complain all you want about Diamond Prices but they're not going to be coming down because there aren't any sales so hardly anyone has them.

the 90k guy is a known 'troll'

our economy primarly relys on our end game people. Like when only a guild or 2 can run the new instances and decides the items they got for just a few mill in buffs is worth 200m somehow. That is controled by ONE person and there's not a lot we can do about that.
Dia sellers also hold a lot of the power and obviously sales are relevent to that. One way to think of it is more dias, more bought, chars get better statted, more people get the end game items, those item become worth much less then said sellers buy said gear. It's a nice balence that's easily tipped in 1 direction obviously now being no sellers whatsoever due to no real sales.

Diamond sales will help lessen the stress on our real life money pouch, which is a great thing. It's will also attract more players (old or new).
There will always be greedy ppl in the real world or vitural world, but buying diamonds or gears at a retarded price or not is up to individual.
I know you are really frustrated , but do realise the player base of Rom is declining by the day. Also the impact of every increasing prices in item shop, makes many left or turn FTP .
This thus make diamonds scarce lately. Which make some greedy ppl taking adventage . This also applies to the crazy price of end game gears .This is a vicious cycle that been around for a while.

Ima throw out a guess and say you dont buy diamonds with real money. At 90k per $5 gets you 9.4mil... so seems perfectly reasonable to me.

Lets put it this way:

You want a top end cap on diamonds cause you want more bang for your in game gold. Prices of diamonds go up with people want more bang for their RL dollar. The fact you said "no higher than" lets me know you dont buy diamonds and just dont want to have to pay more. People who spend their hard earned money for those diamonds you wanna buy should band together and set a "no lower than". This means for all of us to band together and be fair, Everyone needs to agree on a diamond price.

Problem there is sales mean people get more diamonds for their $$$ which means they are willing to let them go for less. Here is the reason why you can find them cheaper and therefore felt a need to make this post. People that open their wallets and actually buy at full price will charge double what they would if there was a sale. So yes the sales are the reasons you got diamonds so cheap. As long as sales dont happen, prepare to see diamond prices raise..... if you can even find someone willing to buy the diamonds at that horror price THEN sell them to you... and THEN choose to give YOU a deal.

End of the day, all you want is the system to be good for you.

As far as the OP is concerned, he needs to shut his mouth till he spends the amount of real life cash and or time that most of us that have been around for 2+ years have done. He basically wants us to sell him Cash Items for cheap so he can progess, looks like he is just as bad as Froggy/Rune/Forge. He wants everything given to him for as little effort as possible. Anyways have fun with your campaign to get lower diamond prices when there are VERY few ppl buying diamonds at regular prices. And I wish those that are selling diamonds the best in gouging everyone they can..

Ok how is people getting less for their money better "period"?

The more people can sell their diamonds for, means the more likely they will buy diamonds. Better prices of diamonds also means more likely they will buy diamonds. Which THAT is the reason the servers stay up... people buying diamonds.

If you were told hey we will give you less for your diamonds, would you be more likely to buy them or less? REally? How would that be better "period"? Answer is, it isnt, unless you are that delusional.

would you really think people are MORE likely to buy diamonds if they are getting LESS for them in game when selling? If so i want a double of whatever you are having.

What ever, I voiced my opinion and that is how I feel. Even if you think it's wrong I don't really care. When it all comes down to it it is just a game, and when they do close U.S. servers... go spend time with your family, play with your children, and talk with your friends. You had fun on the game it kept you entertained and that's all that matters.

and as for all of you who think I just mooch off of your diamonds and buy in stuff in the auction house, I am just going to let you keep thinking that.

2) you bring up the servers coming down... which is avoided by diamond buyers, which you said you wont give frogster any of your money.

3) YOu say you dont care, but you care enough to post responses, which means you do really care.

4) YOU said mooch off diamonds, I never said anything about it. I just said i could tell you didnt buy diamonds.

5) Pointing out to someone else to go outside/be with friends/etc while posting on a message board, might as well just stamp hypocrit on your forhead

and 6) you find the need to bring up a "girlfriend" and "sweet love" in the same sentence as if we care and to try to act big and bad. Might as well have just said "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain". A real man that was going to do that would have no need to announce it.
