With the inability to get back to the new zone, the constant crashing, and the removal of jewels in the item shop I find myself playing about a hour a day now. Soon I will start looking for a new game. I give this expansion a 0.

Yes the crashes are becoming unbearable im hating this "Your memory is full message" each time I tell it "Your patch is an epic quadruple facepalm fail"

Pros:

New Dwarves and Classes.
Cheaper Puries and other assorted goodies.
New Shell/Memento/Energy of Justice gear.

Cons:

New CS offers lower prices on some items while others have remained the same.
Mounts are still ridiculously expensive. (299 diamonds for a mount is about $6 US).
No class balancing or fixing broken skills.
New gear offers little improvement over older gear.
Graphic glitches are causing crashing.
Disappointed in the Shield Form character, it is literally just replacing a normal dwarf model with another one that is already being used in game.

As I haven't progressed passed 70 on my main character, I haven't seen the new content or even bothered to see it.
So far, I have not been impressed by much. New classes are cool and seem to work well, but it's just not enough to warrant me to be excited about the content. I'm still going to hold out final judgement until level 80 level cap is released. It won't do much good to shoot down the "in progress" Chapter 5 as it hasn't been fully released yet.

Rather than gripe about what I may or may not have liked to see, truth is I took a day off work yesterday to play and I enjoyed myself the entire day. New classes are a ton of fun to play imo. Complainers gonna complain, gripers gonna gripe, but if you jump in without all the negative baggage, you'll find it's actually quite an enjoyable expansion. Sure, there are a lot of things I'd do differently; that's not going to stop me from enjoying what they DID do.

THANK YOU!!!!! Honestly, this is one of the most solid expansions they have released to date. Sure there are a couple quest bugs and some npc's are missing their names, but overall the new starting content is amazing. And the classes are so much fun to play, you can definitely tell they put a lot of thought into them.

OK, I just typed a long list of likes and dislikes and hit reply only to be told I didn't have permission (in spanish).

In short (again):
Texture mapping and memory leak errors: 1/10 - fix it, new players see this and think the game is broken.
Dwarves: new race buggy as heck, got 3rd class when I chose mage as secondary. NPCs in new zone without names and text for important things like "learning teleport spells."
Good on you for making the Mage class stackable with Warlock for 2x the INT buff. Cause mages weren't powerful already or anything! (sarcasm).
End-game content - meh, didn't expect much, you didn't disapoint. Not much there. Broken quests (3 at least), 1 days worth of levelling to cap, and broken as all get out manufacturing skills/ during the crafting event. De ja vu there. LOL.

Overall I'd give the entire update a 3/10. There are a few things I liked, but mostly it was more broken content heaped on top of already broken content. With new texture mapping errors making even the most curious gamer think twice about playing a broken game...

If that happens just hit the back button because it'll have saved what you type :)

Anyways, this chapter is really very solid, especially compared to last releases. Only a couple quests have bugs and the new content really isn't as laggy as some of the old content. It was very well made and you can tell they put time and effort into it. Just walking around Morfantas City gives you so much to look at in every direction. There's some of the usual issues with unnamed things (which I honestly have no idea how you miss that or forget to name something. 9/10

The new classes are extremely fun and you can also tell they thought a lot about their dynamic and how they should work. 10/10

The new cash shop is a good step forward, although I do think it is too little too late. The only people the change is affecting are those of us still playing; the change to the cash shop would have been fine if a ton of new people were playing, but as it is they're just making it harder for existing people to play, and I don't think that was their intention. I don't like some of the ruby shop price increases but I do like the additions and price decreases in it so I'm fine there. 9/10

LOVE the addition of constellation pets. I really look forward to how these work in the future. 10/10

Overall I'd give it a 9. This chapter promises to be a really good one, much better than the last.

My first ever class was a Knight/Warrior (little did I know, that's actually a DPS class combination). I myself love to tank, and through the years have experimented with every tanking combination in rom (from warrior/knight [yeah, that's the actual tanking side] to warden/warrior.).

Now, I play a champion/warrior, which to me has the highest tanking potential of the combinations. It is extremely fun, and you'd think having two classes that run on rage would be a bad thing...but you get so much, you can attack indefinitely. It could also just be that I'm used to tanking as a warrior/knight who ran on a rage system.

I've also played an end-game priest who could throw 180k group heals. It was nice, but I got bored with it after a while. I like being the one getting hit and the center of attention haha. I generally like to do high amounts of damage, which is why I loved the warden/warrior. Full tanking capability with damage that rival that of rogues (the highest dpsing class in the game).

The champion thus far has shown me that it does more damage than a knight and can (more than likely) tank better. More defense skills, damage reduction skills, more aggro increasing skills....you'll also have the highest stamina in the game thanks to shield form. Champion also gets its fair share of ranged magical abilities (a range of 225 which rivals that of mages).

Warlock focuses more on DoT attacks on people, it's not really a tank in any aspect.

I think the warlock and Champion classes just take too much, first you have to do this skill to do another skill. I just think it's superfluous, I don't think they're op yet, but we still have time to go, this is just a discussion to see what y'all think so far, and so far it isn't great. To get to the level cap it takes 5 seconds, I can see where you tried to get it away from TB by making them 200k less, but it's still too easy.

I think they were going for classes that took skill to master instead of "hey, pick this new class up and spam one button :)"

Why would people want that? This game is built by siege, most of the people only play because of siege, we need one-three good instant casts.

Why would you play a class that requires skill when you can go mage and spam flame? Especially when the mage does more damage.

This is the start of Frogster and Runewaker fixing the game. Making it less of a facerolling game and into one based on actual SKILL. Personaly I hate Dwarfs and think that adding them is an attempt to make RoM more like WoW. We could ahve done without them smelling upthe place and if there is ever a gas mask or a biological suit sale in the CS I will nbe the first to get one for my pristine Elven mage.

When fighting monsters, the red looks too much like monsters, hard to see. 2/5

You should take a look at grafu castle, that place is like playing blindfolded for me. Those red monsters were still easily visible compared to grafu castle. Not much shiny graphics to be impressed for when you only see dark black there...

Let people have their fun the way they like. One button class cannons are just the fastest way to boredom. Warlock seems to be more of supportive mage with some really strong (party) buffs/debuffs and might do well in smaller battles with less casting time, but as long as cast time matters the most for maximum burst, mages will always burst harder than those 1-2 second stingy little hobbitse farts. Unless some of those crazy int buffs makes you hit softcaps much before m/w.

Overall I think patch was pretty mild for existing players who don't want to level new filthy little hobbitses, new cheap way to farm stats aka krolin, not so hard new instances to bring new challenges (maybe they finally listened those people who powerlevel to 70 and cry that they cannot play tosh when they haven't even beaten ch2 instances yet), not very good gear from new instance to feel that winning moment with shiny reward when you finally kill boss after countless amount of wipes (even thought some pieces are better for non-set matk stackers), very linear cave like normal zone filled with random recycled monsters on the both sides of the street. This patch was made mainly to introduce new race dwarfses and give them some time to reach higher levels with the rest, before new elite skills and possibly higher level caps are to be released. Reduced PFS price was the best thing chapter 5 could possibly bring as it helps both new players, free players and those who want to reroll to filthy dwarfses to make their new gear, while people who buy more can still have their advantages by making higher tier gear.

I've just been looking at some of the dwarf class combo possibilities & I see one that looks like it is going to be a PvP monster.
Ahh, so nice that RW has been working so hard on class balance!

I can already see the nerf threads that are just around the corner.......
