Dwarf Issues

Here are a few issues that I have come across as a dwarf so far:

1) The minimap icons for Warlock and Champion are switched. It shows the Warlock with a two-handed hammer and the Champion with a staff with a skull on top. >.>

2) When inquiring about a dwarf, it indicated their race is an "Urbie". Translation error?

3) Dwarves cannot change class at the House Maids (or House Servants), they have to go inside the house to talk to their housekeeper, or go to Varanas to the class exchanger to change their class.

4) Some elite skills are incomplete. One I just received as a warrior/champion (Blood Rune Weapon) says it increases Physical Attack Power by (Buff1-0)% and Critical Physical Hit Rate by 60.0 for 15.0 times.

So far I have been unsuccessful in obtaining dwarf elite skills from the trainers in Hefner. I'm going to see if I can pick up elite skills in Varanas.

Never mind; I discovered that chapmions and champion secondaries cannot pick up elite skills until the champion learns shield form.

Also learned that, at least for champ/priest, getting elite skills does not consume OR require a training certificate.

how can i learn shield form? and when i will take that skill could i use the old bags at hefner???

You automatically learn shield form at level 16. It will appear in your skill book. No. The bags at hefner do not work, the ONLY way you can get elite skills is from the elite skill trainer in Rorazan, and you do not need any elite skill certificates to get them, just talk to him.

Can we keep this thread about the bugs with dwarves and not about people misunderstanding how to get their elite skills?

The only place you can pick up elite skills for dwarves is in Rorazan. Which is why the elite skill trainers in heffner and varanas tell you they cannot understand your class because you are dwarven. And when you reach 15/15 you receive a mail telling you where you need to go in the first place.

And you are correct, none of the elite skills require training certificates.

You have to quest in the dwarven starting zone in order to get your shield form. You wont get it otherwise. I think it's the Rune something rather npc that gives you the quest chain to complete to get it. Either way just do all the quests in the starting zone just to make sure.

omg!! i was warlock lvl 12 and then i go to my house and when i check the classes i dont know how i had secondary class the champion! i didnt check out why and i teleport to logar and becaume lvl 18! i lost the chain so if i go back with my warlock i could take the skill???

umm no you have to be on your champion in order to get the skill. just go there on your champion and pick it up. not sure if you just have to speak to the guy since you already did the quests or it's a completely specific quest just for the champions

edit: Also something i'd like to point out is that the class npc's don't show their names in the center of town. Still says sys_(insert random string of numbers) A lot of people seem to not read the npc's chatbox when they click on them and have become said secondary class and not realize it. Might want to fix that for the reading challenged people.

if you are warlock/champion switch to champion/warlock and talk to Logden Darkstove again if Lvl16+ on Champion(!).

This NPC gives you the shield form if you have done the noob quests leading up to him (the crafting stuff). after that you can get your elite skills from the NPC.

sucks but atleast it works that way.

The NPC does have a quest to do. After completing it, he will tell you: At level 16 you will receive shield form. It will appear in your skill book. So he doesn't necessarily give it to you, but I guess in a way he unlocks the access of it.

I think the third class quest isn't available for Dwarves as of yet. I have gotten 1 class to 20 and the other to 16 and I believe if you're at 20/10 you should get a quest in the Eye of Wisdom right? I've heard of people just talking to the class trainers and being able to pick up to 4 classes but I know that will get fixed eventually so no point in trying it if it just means I will lose my progress later.

20/20, the same levels that open up heffner.

Theres been a lot of spotty issues with the patch. Dwarves themselves are one. Seem untargettable.

Have had a couple issues, but over all i love my war/champ so far im almost to lvl 58(war) and have been through most instances already trying to get beafy as a dps. Cant wait till i can get higher up and start running things.

Ooh, I'd like to hear how the class combination is working! I'm playing the opposite side (champ/war) and was wondering how all the skills worked since they suck your hp.
