Botters again on Reni

Can any GM or CM answer this, are you doing anything about botters or not?

Same person at dog meat since Christmas there, Same people in TB doing the same thing.

Why are they still there, not banned as was promised. Were reported again and again.

Don't tell me to send you anymore fraps or screenshots, do your job, log in the game and check it out for yourselves for once.

Reni server channel 1 or 2 or 3, will take you what 2 minutes to check it and get it over with? please.

Hard to believe you guys are doing anything for that, gold spammers or hackers, exploiters and cheaters. When you see known botters never getting banned, i have another theory of maybe it is still doing it, but i will get ban if i say it, so i'll keep it to myself.

Now they are guildless so we don't call out their guild leaders on it.

If you allow this and don't do anything, can we all do it then?

A removal of this post or not commenting it, would mean you approve of this type of behavior. And don't give us that you cannot tell us what action has been taken to protect privacy, no bs please.

Ban hammer on botters and that is it, first offense 45 days so if any goods or gold in mailbox cannot be collected and will be lost, second offense 3 month ban and 3rd offense perma ban. Get it over with.

QQ more maybe that'll make the botters go away.

You reported it in december when it first became an issue? Filled out the forms , sent in fraps, responded to the numerous emails etc as required?

I am sure they are working on it, it just takes time.

If all that was for a GM or CM...you can contact one of them by looking at their signature. :) I think it says something like..."Contact Support". Since you decided to place something on the forum...It's a free for all. You get what you ask for. Now please stop ur QQ'ing and send a support ticket in. :) Cause we all know the only thing your forum post is going to do is get people to troll and flame it. Just sayin.

Yes by all means send in a ticket, do not post it here or on any other boards so anyone knows about it. Just send in a ticket. After 6 months you have to be getting close to the top of the que.

Never have botted and never will. All you ever do on here is QQ about something. If it's not fixed 5 minutes ago, QQ more. That's all you know how to do.

Lol, you already know a GM is going to come an say: "If you think a player is botting, please send in a ticket and we will check it out as soon as possible."

I think Zid posted this thread to let it be known to the general populace that the Botters were back in full force again. Yes something needs done about them and so far nothing has been done. I personaly ahve submitted screenies until my eye's bleed on suspected botters, and yet they are still going about their everyday botting. Most people look at a character and don't even bother to see what they are doing. But me if I suspect someone is botting I will followthem around for a bit then cap screenies of their route and what they are doing. I pretty much gave up on reporting them long ago though due to teh fact that they have NOT been thinned out at all. Common Frogster something needs done about it.

L3g3nd is right in this regard - If you feel a player is botting, please report them with a screenshot, the name of the player, and the server.

We do act against botters, but we rely on you, the community, to be our eyes.

We cannot be everywhere at once, but enough of you can be.

If you do not report botters when you see them, you're a part of the problem, and one of the reasons that botters remain in-game for so long.

As has been previously stated - there are many reasons a player may remain unbanned after we investigate - One of the most common is the player being present and not botting.

If we banned based only on reporting hearsay, we would ban a lot of innocent players - Something I'm not willing to do to punish a few bad apples.

It should be self-evident from our Terms of Service that botting is not allowed or tolerated - Doing anything of this nature puts your account in extreme jeopardy.

You will not receive any notification about why or if another player is banned - Ever. The matter is between support and that player. Not only are there potential legal issues, it opens other players to harassment and ridicule.
