Fungi Killer title, anyone know how to get it?

Anyone have any ideas? Its listed on runesdatabase.com but gives no specific details or information. So I just searched on google for about an hour but found nothing. I'm guessing its in howling mountains somewhere.

And it doesn't have anything to do with Hillarzu either (the mushroom king), since that gives a different title. But yeah, if anyone knows how to do this, just reply here when you can.

Kill the shrooms outside pioneers colony, you're gonna be there for a few hours possibly, so get comfy. If you leave the area or rezone for any reason the kill count starts over. I don't know if there is an exact number to kill like there is for Joblid, but I know its a whole lot more than him. When you start seeing the blue guard mushrooms you're getting close. You have to kill them when you see them too. If you're doing it right the blue mushrooms will increase in rank ( I think one is called guard, the next one(s) are called lieutenants, captains, ect). After an extensive amount fo time the mushroom king will spawn roughly in the same area you're in. Try to stay near the town side, not off where the foxes and such are. Hope this helps and good luck! Thanks. I have got to get this title. I hate all the damn fungus I see in the game. It is especially irritating when using a potion from Nolika's Research and you turn into a "cute fungus" and a phrase flashes across the screen something like "How could anyone hurt something so cute?"

No, the mushroom king gives a title called I Actually Found Him! Its listed in the runesdatabase too. But this Fungi Killer reward or title is for something else. It has no information. Maybe it involves doing something inside the portal area north of pioneers colony?

I zoned into the area a few minutes ago and looked around. It has many wild fungus and young fungus. They are sort of a green color and smaller creatures. Usually you can capture them for a quest. But I saw no special boss monster or anything in there. Maybe its rare and could show up later, I don't know. Just guessing for now. Will wait for more replies.

Ah now i know which you're talking about, thought you were just mislabeling the fungus king kill title. Nah that one isn't obtainable right now as far as I know. I know i been playing since the game released and never gotten that title (obviously titles haven't always been around but you get the point). If someone does have some secret info on it please do share.

Yeah, sorry for the confusion. I was just trying to say it wasnt about the mushroom king since I figured someone would guess that right away. Its just called Fungi Killer. I am thinking maybe I have to kill several of the fungus in that special portal area. Maybe 100s or 1000s of them.

But I'm too tired to do it now so I'll try testing it out tomorrow or something. Will keep watching this post over the next few days too. So if anyone knows something about this, let us know when you can.

Its one of those hidden titles that doesn't show up in your book. You will just get it if you fulfill the conditions that are required, similar to the bear king titles. But no one seems to know the conditions, so I'm thinking that maybe niburian's guess was right when he says that this title was never actually implemented into the game.

If anyone knows anything differently though, hope to hear from you soon. I'll try to bump this post every few days to keep it current for awhile.

I recall players last year (EU side) saying they got the title after killing Androllier's Prisoner in NoM, despite having done so many times previously and the title and the kill not making much sense together. Not sure if this was intended or even if it's still possible to achieve it that way - I've just cleared NoM to see and nothing. Very little info on the interwebs for this one

More patience than Job apparently. Made an alt and stayed in the area for over 4 hours. Went from level 2 to 10 during this time just killing the shrooms. Got 3 guards to spawn and 2 captains. This took about 2 and a half hours. Had to head back into the ville and go get rid of the pot of coffee. Didn't get one spawn of guard or captain, or anything else after this even though I was now one hitting the shrooms. I picked up a quest from the guy you report into in the pioneer colony so I could see the spawns on the mini-map. There were a couple of places where the mini-map should a spawn, but nothing was there. I am inclined to think that the spawns shown on the mini-map spawned below ground, like when a kill disappears or when you zone in some place and find yourself falling to your death.

Just a tip, if you're looking for Hillarzu, I'm told he only spawns at night. I haven't met a single player that has killed him during the daytime and a lot of people swear by the nighttime tip, so it must be a good one. (I mean night in-game... lol)

The Fungus boss has never been spawned on our server as far as I know. Some of the bosses seem to have been made more difficult to spawn, such as aisha, who I used to be able to spawn once every 2 hours or so and now I can't, and the spider anselve...whom I have never seen over 2 years. I mean seriously...sometimes a game should be a little more fun and hard work should have a payoff. I know this generation is about getting thing now, but lol.

It would be worth reporting if there were a way to test for sure. I'm about 95% sure that Aisha is a boss that spawns based on luck. Sometimes takes 20 minutes to spawn. Other times, over 24 hours. So I don't think that could be tested, but I believe Anselve spawns based on # of spiders killed. Old threads claim the number is 10,000 or so. If anyone were crazy enough to test it and count how many spiders it takes until Anselve spawns (across more than one server), maybe you could some how find out if there a bug. It is really hard to tell with those old bosses. >,<

i used to farm aishia...and yes, it is kinda random, sometimes it takes 2 hours, other times it takes like 20 min...i guess each fairy has like a 0.0004% chance to spawn her...
