Not sure if I 'give a crap', but I think that the comic is fun. It adds depth to the game community, imho.

While not wanting to be too negative, this thread does just sound like someone beating the old drum of 'only what I think is important is important'.

Or does it even bother you that much? Is your criticism not actually about a light hearted comic, but about other things related to the game?

And I want to make absolutely clear that I don't like the comic just because Flo is hottest woman since, er, well, Wilma Flintstone at least. Yabadaba-dooo, baby.

Read that in an Al Bundy accent, anyways, I agree with OP, but there have been topics about this thing before.

Personally I think that the money could be better well spent towards someone making regional events etc, I mean there's nothing quite as fun as doing the same events over and over as they currently are.

I don't watch that cartoon. And I think they should invest those money to improve the game(fix crashes, glitches, bugs, etc.)

how do you even know that someone's being paid to do it? Maybe one of their team just likes drawing comics, made Flo & Andy, and felt like seeing their artwork represented along with the game. I think it's a nice addition, as it's something outside of the confines of the game itself.

Because their site is http://www.frogster-comics.com/en/index.html Frogster is paying for the domain, their trademark is on the site, what to you doesn't say that someone is getting paid for making the comics?

I like those comics...

I think Flo and Andy is a European thing, unless you get 6 paid weeks of vacation a year, you just won't get it.

The comics could be better. They could be funnier, more RoM related, and more informative.

Certainly the game itself and its players are huge targets to hit with some self-depreciating humour, but probably you can't expect a corporate sponsored comic to be as satirical as something like 'The Noob'.

We had a competition a while back on the EU to come up with a story line for the comic - not sure if it was done here. But if so many people could do better maybe they should run such a contest again. I could imagine that I would pay money to read the story of Ebilone in graphic form Katalana's story probably wouldn't be so interesting

Really?....Seriously? Of all the things you have a choice to complain about, you pick the Flo and Andy comic?

Why not pick the forums as a complaint issue? After all, in the 3.5 years I have been playing, I have watched the forums go from a place to learn the game, i.e. HELPFUL suggestions, such as: how to complete a certain quest, the difference between stating and tiering, etc., to a slamfest of Runewalker, FA, FEU, Gameforge, GMs, CMs, FMs and just about anything else you all can think up. And before anyone pulls an old thread of mine, I too have done my share of complaining. I seem to remember my complaining had to do with game/char breaking issues though: Mana % cost issue, GCD, increased amount of TP needed to level a skill after a forced reset, etc.

Or, how about complaining that in-game for 4 hours, we go through 2-3 cycles of daylight and dusk? I mean, haven't you noticed how difficult it is to see mobs when the game is in its night cycle?

Maybe complain about, Oh, I don't know, the difficulty of navigating through NoM? You know, all those twists and turns and roving mobs..

Or do like I have done, complain about the number of complaints?

I've never read the comics, tbh. They seemed to be mostly for new players and people who obsessively check the front page of the website.

I check for sales information and patch releases/maintenance. That's pretty much it. The comic has no interest for me whatsoever.

I am not sure where you are leading with this thread, so I can only stress again that Bugs will not get fixed any faster if sales and marketing and PR and community management stop doing their work as they are supposed to. We are the publisher not the developer.

These comics are a nice little addition and asset to the website and community, something to smile about and are not blocking up any work resources that are needed elsewhere.

What I can forward is that you would like to be able to give more ideas and suggestions for future comics, to see the communities thoughts and ideas reflected a bit more.

Otherwise, these are just comics, something to read and like or to not read if they do not match your taste or are of interest to you.

Discontinuing them will not get any bugs fixed any faster. Not everyone is a developer or a supporter, just like not everyone is in the task of adding graphic content to our website services, there are several departments and tasks involved in hosting an MMO, and providing some fun media content is one of them.

Me enjoys the comics, an me liketh ter think that new players ter the game can get fun hints an suggestions as ter how certain parts o the game function. The only drawback be that they tis in DDC, whilest the whiney endgamers be in Rorazan.

Anybody else notice the image on the the back on the guys computer on the homepage. Tell me how that pic is appropriate for a game the wants us not to use swear words or inapproriate images in wc. I'm just saying they might want someone to look at the images before putting them on there website
