Really? Nora updated her pet but the machines are replaced by whatever this new event is.

Hope no one wanted a cancer pet.

Tooltips on the Universal components all say nullobjects

I did a brief look around for any type of event to either upgrade or get new ones and found nothing. Guess they got to busy screwing wardens to set that up or fix the bridge portals into varanas

I think it is beyond their capabilities to run more then one festival/event at a time.
Although I do not see why it would not be possible to one in Varanas, a second in
Obsidian and a 3rd in Dalanis.

What happens to people who have enough wind elements for an adult Gemini pet,
but have not upgraded from newborn yet? Will it still work or are we screwed?

Then there were all those special-prize-recipes that require materials ONLY available
during the crafting festival. I guess they are useless now.

I don't see anything that would stop you from doing that. The existing pets still work (to some extent, disregard the 2% = 2 stat boost pet). But there WAS 2 events going on prior to this, they just seemed to replace everything in favor of the color festival that needed so much space...

Did a quick check with QA on this:

The tooltip on the universal component says nullobjects, because the machines are gone, that is correct. If you have not traded those components in for the wind elements, you will have to keep them and wait until that part of the event becomes active again next year.

The water elements are available now at a different mini game near Varanas, which runs at certain times. There is an additional chance for those elements and a cancer crystal when you trade in event rewards at the Varanas bridge at the NPC who trades certificates for costumes.

So the chance to obtain the cancer pet is there, we could verify no bug with this, it works as intended.

So Dionaea...Since you posted here, and the constellation pet seems to be the topic... I spent a bunch of time getting my pet to adult to find out that it only gives +2 to each stat instead of 2%. Could you ask your wonderful team if they have a time that this will be fixed? Or can I just toss my pet in the trash with everything else I worked for in this game? It's like buying a nicer engine for your car only to have one of the pistons missing.... Kind of a joke if you ask me. Ya'll introduce them and just like everything else you guys seems to add to the game, it's broken. Why not just take the fricken things out since you have no problems creating problems from things that weren't a problem before. FIX THE OLD CONTENT BEFORE ADDING NEW PLEASE! >< So sick of being annoyed by this game. I thought playing games should be fun? Shouldn't give me a headache.

So let me get this straight, the new event is on a timed basis (once an hour, starting at the 20 minute mark but only between 8am and 11 pm), you then have to remain inside the circle for the next 15 minutes (10 of which spent WAITING for it to start). The the event starts and you cant tab target the elements, and clicking on them is difficult enough... and be competing with other people on the server/channel and end up with 3 water elements and 3 functional weaving packages and the lowest turn in is for 10 packages and according to the NPC may not even produce anything?

This is a known bug we already informed Runewaker of.

Unfortunately, we have no ETA on a fix.

sertet, I can only give you the information I gave, I have not fiddled with the constellation pets yet myself. Just like when the constellation pets were first introduced, I have high hopes that as soon as players find out the tricks and don'ts for this pet, they will share them with their community

The legendary pet is also broke for this buff. It is supposed to give +3% to all attributes but only gives +3 to all attributes.

It's one thing to try and figure out how to do better in the event. It's an entirely different thing to say "you must do this on our schedule". Say you have 3 characters on your account that you'd like the benefit of the pet on. You have to stop what you are doing to get to the event circle 3 separate times. I don't know how it is handled with multiple people in the circle but it very likely creates competition for a limited resources that can't even be traded.

Dailies you do on your own time, goblin mines, malatinas, instances, etc, but this? it's either going to run 42 or 45 times per day (3 channels 8am-11pm) and if 43 or 46 people (or more) are interested in the pet, the resources get limited even further.

The staff have been told that. Several times, btw. The game is up and running 24/7/365. There's not a single reason they can't or shouldn't be providing the content that they have to everyone who plays, when they have time to play.

Sadly, they seem determined not to listen. We get happy hour promotion sales (which wind up being anything but happy for their customers) and content that is only available at certain times of the day. It's both disappointing and irritating that they can't simply leave the content there to be enjoyed by everyone.

I thought the point of the pets was to encourage people to spend more charges. I bet there are several players that would make legendary versions of EVERY zodiac pet if they were given enough materials. The wind element setup was perfect; log in consistently, do well in the event, and in a month you have enough materials to make a legendary pet. With the cancer pet, from what I've seen, you'll be lucky to make an adult version before the element changes.

Again, let me emphasize, the wind element setup was perfect. In a reasonable amount of time you could get all the elements you needed to make a legendary pet. Bring back the machines please! Make the "UNIVERSAL" elements universal please!

IMO, kinda dumb, because I'm not sure if you would be able to make the highest level pet given the elements were not tradable and you could only do it once a day: there just wasn't enough time given to be able to do that.. I will be stuck with 7 wasted spaces where I didn't finish my last diamonds level elements....

+1 "Universal" implies IT WORKS FOR ALL ELEMENTS....

So, far I have only found a way to generate 3 water elements per day...not gonna cut it

I agree with TheMann64. The machines were great. I just wish there was more information on the pet crystals. The only thing I could find about them were some players were able to get one when turning in 6 certificates, but I never saw anything in the game that said how to get one. I did the festival events and turned in certificates to the cashier, but I never received a pet crystal. Am I missing something???

The crafting event has a chance of getting a egg crystal from turning in the 6 certs. This means you were not guaranteed an egg, but considering the ease of acquisition you at least had a chance per day if you did all the events (sometimes 2 with the universal components turn-in adding up). This is why I said it would be preferable to have the pet egg crystals unbound. I have 2 characters with 5 gemini eggs and a couple characters with 0 or 1

This event seems to be a minimum of 10 certificate/packages or whatever they are called. There is the option of the epic grade packages that dont fail and need at least 2. However to get the epic grade ones you need to come out on top in competitions against everyone on the server who participates in the timed events. When you turn in the 10/2 you probably have that same chance to get an egg crystal. unless another event is found to give out more water elements the most i've seen acquired is 3 and even if the event runs for 30+ days I doubt you will see many adult cancer pets.
