The question I have is... than who's going to tank now??
Bunch of Knights quit in Mighty Shield nerf. Bunch of Wardens going to have trouble tanking in this nerf. Doubt anyone will roll a champion to tank endgme.
Tanks are almost as rare as diamonds already, this nerf will just make it even worse...
Yeah, this is a sentiment I kept expressing yesterday. When Scout was fixed scouts just reverted to their secondary rogue which had become OP. When Priest's group heal was made so it was no longer spammable it was an adjustment but priests are making it work now. But you can't nerf a tanks ability to defend and keep aggro... you're ruining the whole party structure. For a long time our guild only HAD a Wd/W for a tank, now we have two awesome Knights as well... we're really lucky for that. But there are some guilds out there, quite a few I imagine, who cannot keep a good tank. A lot of Wd/Ws I know just don't like Knight and vice versa. It was ingenious to finally make it so the elf species could have a tank and there was more than one choice for a tank class. Now they've taken that away, limited the options, and to their own detriment and the unfortunate who put in all the effort to switch from chain to plate when it was made available and likely statted entirely with stamina, pattack, and defense. And what I keep wondering is why? There are endless threads complaining about P/S's iceblade and R/S's combat master... and so they go after a tank class... Warden should have been the last class on the chopping block, they FINALLY got it right. So of course since they did finally get it right, they had to break it.

Please dont compare this to the mighty shield nerf ur class wasnt completely butchered ur aggro was only reduced a bit.
IF All they did was reduce my aggro by 10-20% i wouldnt give a atleast id still beable to play my class properly.
Now im gonna have spirit of the oak out for my pdef to be slightly better but still alot weaker and have it ninja pulling pats and my aoe missing half the mobs while i have to wait for a 12second cd my healers and dps will be dead on every pull.

I just started to wonder. Have the Warden/Warriors tested their new stats while having Spirit of the Oak out, Briar Shield up, and also with Protection of Nature ? Also doing your pulls, with Spirit of the Oak out, use your Cross Chop since it now has a granted aggro boost from your pet, plus it is a fan. So maybe try to pull with Cross Chop, run in to the group and hit with Frantic Briar to reduce the group's attack and slow them, then tab through targets using PotWS since it now hits up to three targets, maybe hopefully the 12 second CD will be done (still think that is too long of a CD for the ability) to cast Frantic Briar again. Just a thought, I haven't gone on my Warden/Warrior and it is still quite a noobie so I am just trying to spitball an idea of how to group taunt now that Will is gone... But then again they said they would have something for the class to help with aggro come next maintenance so who knows...
My main reason for this post, I was just wondering about the stats if using all buffs available to Warden/Warrior to see how they compare to the old buff. Since Protection of Nature gives HP and increases healing by 15%, Spirit of the Oak raises Pdef and supposed to raise parry rate, and Briar Shield also raises Pdef, how far off is it from the old stats?
