Runes of Magic US / AU

Yeah I gotta say, it's pretty damn good. I feel like everything is much more organized and I know where to go to find certain things. Before, I didn't even know we had 5 episodes of Romcast on the website.

For any GM's or CM's that are reading this though: Under the tab "Account", it says Passwort Lost instead of Password Lost. Just doing a bit of proofread for you guys .

seemed like a decent sized patch for no patch notes?

im more worry about the 'ninja' patch maybe the wd/w fix... still w8

I like the "This way to support" link. It takes you nowhere.

It did give me a bit of hope when I saw "Score for More" banner on top of that page. Sadly it took me to the page in German so I am guessing it is only for German speaking North Americans - Amish ???

The "play now" magic orb looks awesome. And when I clicked on it, it says I can play on browser, and I double checked (because I though I waso n EU) and I was on US site O_O

Edit: nvm, no browser once you log in. Only shows browser if you're not logged in, so apparently browser are for people that don't have an account apparently... lol.

And the website constantly freezes my internet. Also, the Trailers page doesn't work. Everytime I go there, I get the "website not working" message.

Well im in and no fix to wardens from what i can see so far

By far my most favorite page lawls.

Yeah...the "To the Website" link on the forums gets you a 404 page, and going to runesofmagic.com now defaults to the EU site instead of the US site. Also, why the hell does the "Play Now" button bring you to a "Register and play in your browser!" login, when we don't have the browser version in the US? Pretty sloppy implementation for such a long maintenance.

Edit: And why does the site take forever and a day to load anything?

Geez, so much negativity, give em a freaking chance to fix the website before going crazy on all the errors. Even with the errors, I still say it was a HUGE improvement over the previous website.

Aside from it not really picking the appropriate localizations, it is inexcusable to take that long to launch a website redesign and with errors/broken links/long load times. I have done website redesigns, I have done database upgrades, I have done a full php recompile for outdated servers and had less than 5 minutes of downtime, I have done entire server rebuilds due to catastrophic hardware failure in a far shorter timespan than this. It isn't like these things cant be done on a test server first and then migrated over.

That is because that page is no longer part of the new site since they restructured the whole thing (also bad design to not even implement redirects)

Yea, new link is us.runesofmagic.com/us/home.html they just changed the name of the webpage and didn't change the links to it on the forums. Simple and easy problem to fix, a bit idiotic that they didn't catch that before putting it live, I learned that back in sophomore year of HS.

Yeah, no warden fixes yet, but hey, at least their main site isn't a complete mess anymore.

I wonder if the information that was on the old site has been updated or not. You know, the stuff about getting attribute buffs for being red/blue in pvp, dynamic dungeons, elemental combos, getting rubies from phirius token purchases, stuff like that.

Well got to the US home page when i click on the forum link it sends me to some other language and yes i have English chosen. O well i have the us forums bookmarked anyways, i wont need to goto the webpage considering i dont plan on buying diamonds ever again

You are kidding right? With as much that has been broken in this game and has been for 2 years..this is suppose to be impressive?

I have a 67D/S in game. I stopped playing RoM about 7 months ago. Just after Souls came out, still no removal of a pos lvl 50 elite called spring flower eulogy. Came back to see hat changes ch 5 brought in about that.. found my tp raped. had the majority of my healing skills maxed i not they were lvl 50 -65. My Offensive skills were at least lvl 50 one was 62. All that bonus TP, I invested into my toon raped, wiped. The money i used to buy the tp bonus pots stolen, yes stolen. What i spent my money on is no longer there. Out the 28 skills i have 3 are maxed, and i have points put into 4 other skills, lvls 16,41,51, and 62. When i left i had 14 to 16 skills i had points in 2or 3 in the 30s , 6 were maxed to 67, rest were at 50 or 62/65 with one or 2 in the 40s.

Guess frogster needed some more money so they did a force tp reset. See tp resets only take into account the amount of TP you would get per lvl, it doesnt account any bonus tp from pots and orbs. Pots and orbs that cost dias/rubies. So really with all the problems with RoM, a new look is all you got???? I read in the forums players wondering why players are leaving, yeah new things are coming out, but most are leaving because they are tired of being shafted up the posterior by frogster.

Gold sellers are the least of frogsters concern. That isnt why players are leaving RoM.

User your "user name", the same one you use to login in game, not the email. I could not get kalydo player going in linux/wine enviroment, but it seemed like it should work for window users.
