I've been asking for a week now, But we could we at least get a reason why wardens were Nerfed to begin with? I'd like an honest answer and dont tell me Nyte or any1 else doesn't know cause that would be a load of well you know. At least lie to me and tell me you guys confused all the nerf Iceblade threads and couldn't read and thought it was asking for warden nerfs. Yes I'm angry very much so....
I'm not in Runewaker's decision-making or development team, so I do not know for sure.
However, I'll be more than happy to give you an opinion.
I believe that Runewaker wants to make the Warden an all-around more viable class, capable of fulfilling both a tank and dps role depending on gear, much like their design for the champion class. The first portion seems to have been damage increases for single targets, with tanking addressed second.
Some of the changes also seem designed to make the warden more consistent, and make the gearing more similar regardless of the secondary class.
Some of the changes (like Frantic Briar) were for game balance reasons. A warden with cast time reducing consumables could output an incredible amount of AoE damage, equivalent to or greater than a mage. This was apparently not intended.
Well i would like to know what [COLOR=blue !important]"mainly localization updates"[/COLOR] means? Any takers?
This means that this patch consisted mostly of updates to quest text, NPC names, and grammar corrections - as previously stated, it is regrettably not the remaining warden changes.
Can we get patch notes at least? Or is that beyond your Tech lvl?
This portion is above my access level, unfortunately. I'll inform the appropriate people that you'd like to see patch notes for these changes, but I don't know how quickly that will bear fruit.
