Because I see plenty of scouts play there class at an extremely high level. The class is fine. Keep asking for more and it will get destroyed by the obvious lack of skill in Runewaker. The two best siege players on the US servers atm are a S/K and a M/WD. A very good scout does about 60-70% dps of a really good rogue.

How fast a class can oneshot another in siege doesn't really say anything about their performance in PvE, ijs.

PvE is a completely different story from PvP. This thread is based on both. Otherwise what would matter in PvE if you nerfed hide.(as one of the poll options is)

Your previous posts imply that based on the epic s/k PvP scout, scouts need no help and that all scout issues are a result of talentless players. Again this whole convo is off topic. Have a suggestion for improving scout? Post. Here to troll about how scouts don't need any improvement, start a new thread, I hear they are free.

I've seen scout/wardens and scout/rogues keep up with every other DPS class, so I don't think that they are broken. If anything, it's just that Scout has to use more skills than every other class, their rotation is more complicated, but they're not broken. Everyone just swapped to rogue because it's the easy button dps class.

Scout/Rogues are very good pve dps. The best AC party make up is Tank/Priest/Druid/Mage/Rogue/Scout. I am just saying that not all scouts need a buff. Scouts like Scout/Mage need some help etc. Don't blindly buff scouts though. I fear the return of the age of scouts. (Runes of Scouts Ch. 3)

Fair enough, the suggestions so far are pretty conservative, no risk of chp 3 based on the improvements thus far.

I wouldn't say all rogue combos because you dont have a huge rotation... just those r/s's out there when they pop their energy theif.

Buddy, I am asking that detection should be given a improvement , what does it got to do with Dps? This is getting really out of point.
maybe as a scout/knight you do not really need to rely on detection, but I sure does. Detection has a really short detecting range at the moment , plus rogues could move at 100m/h in hide. B4 they appear on my detecting radar , they are already starring at me in my face with his dagger stuck to my chest.
shot should not be spammable, it will cause issues again.
I have no issue keeping up with a rogue Dps in ac normal.I does about the same Dps (15-20% less). But I am a scout warden.

Even if it were spammable, that wasn't the reason scouts were OP.

Do you know how the current defense scheme works? The boss has 200k pdef, u have 200k patk, you'll hit the boss harder than someone with 150k patk.

Back then, the boss had 1000 dex, but a scout had 15,000 dex, and would DESTROY a boss. That's why it was so crazy. They bypassed the defense law because ranged weapons used to be 100% about dex damage.

Other than that yeah, they shouldn't be too far behind a rogue or warrior, but behind by some.

Bleeding, I totally agree, chapt 3 scout damage calculation was a total disaster , runewaker should have fixed that issue rather than just thrown a nerf on scouts, apparently they can't do it then, I doubt they could do it now .
So minor increase to the skill damage of scouts skill should make them more competitive in pve and not falling too back behind Rogues and warriors.
But currently my main concern is the ability of detection .
I do not know whether you would agree but I seriously feel that hide of rogue class is a very big advantage in siege. Scout detection is a counter measure for that. But as I say in the previous posts, detection is not effective as it should be with the current detecting range, adjustment should be make to detection to make it actually serve its purpose in siege.

I can never go against the good guilds in siege with scouts that have detection up and hit them b4 they hit me.

Siege should never be a reason for the buffing or nerfing of a class. This is a PVE game with 1 hour of PVP (Assuming you arent stuck on Grimdal or Indigo). Don't like how Scout stacks up against Rogue in SIege? Make a P/S for siege like everyone else :)

If anyone here does play s/x u should know that apart from the 1sec gcd. There is also delay time between certain skills.
if u use combo shot, u have to wait for the 1sec gcd, and on top of that u have to wait for the graphic (aka rising the range weapon up again for the next skill example: vampire arrow, reflective shot, etc).
r/s elite skill weak spot doesn't have that problem with using either reflective or vamp arrow.
if they work on the delay between skill, that would already give scout a boost in dmg.
