Imo Frogster needs an inhouse developer.

Could this be the UNDERSTATEMENT of the year since rumor has it that Radiant Arcana has been shut down....now who is going to keep RoM open?

I don't find it hard to believe that Taiwan's server shut down, it opened AFTER ours did.

The thing you have to understand is that Beanfun or w/e was the company who was publishing it in Taiwan, Runewaker is the one who develops RoM, two different things.

Having an inhouse developer though just makes it easier if Frogster does run into problems or wants to change things on their own that they can put their own developer on it but who knows what kinds of deliverables that Runewaker gives them, I'd hope they'd be giving them full source.

They honestly thought warden was "too good"??????????? Seriously? You know how many wardens i see on artemis that are fully endgame? None except me. And how many knights? All tanks are knights. Forward this to your people Aetherth, thanks.

Class balancing is a very delicate thing to mess with, If something is nerfed heavily people will be upset, if its buffed too heavily people will be upset. As mentioned by Heijoshin it is being worked on.

What a load of crap answer. NO ONE WAS UPSET WITH HOW THE WARDENS TANKED BEFORE YOU WENT AND SCREWED THEM UP. I don't think you guys get this. Instead, you decide to MAKE the players upset by nerfing what worked just fine?!

A player tanking does not really affect another player in a way iceblade does in siege to some people. No one would get upset except for other classes that are able to tank, and Knight is doing ok :P

I agree that warden tanking was fine as it was, might be nice to get a reason as to why :) ( go aetherth go :) )

Keep in mind Aetherth isn't the one making the decisions the development team is implementing :P
Question for Aetherth: Do you feel that they give you and the other forum mods enough info to supply the community with?

I have to agree with you, I mean seriously wardens were so far under the radar, we have like 500 nerf threads and they picked warden. I think they just put names in a hat and pull out which class gets tweaked. Though this isn't Frogsters fault, well they could have withheld the entire warden patch. My r/p certainly didn't get a buff with their mana surge 5% damage decrease!? Really guys GCHM mobs hit for 70k gee thanks for the 3k decrease, mighty nice of you guys, im viable again!

What im saying is if you read the patch notes they had no purpose to them. Most was random that left you thinking Why?

I've gotten to the point where I realize they read everything. Whether they take it seriously is really up to them. We pretty much keep asking for the same thing over and over. EU and US and other places. Either they just don't care or too busy passing it around the e-mail boxes figuring out who is going to take responsibility for the mess they have created. This game has so much potential if they would fix the bugs in it. They could actually get new paying customers to play the game if they did. But Don't listen to the players... We really like playing your game with less and less players everyday. <//~~Sarcasm~~\\>

Frogster/Gameforge/Runewaker....Whoever is out there... Seriously, Either start making use of your extremely expensive game that has ALOT of potential, or just tell us WTF is going on?!?!

1. The Varanas Portal on the bridge? What happened there? It can't be that hard to figure out. It worked for YEARS!

2. The Constellation Pets - ...Im not even going to go there

3. The Wardens - Who was bored? Someone higher up must have taken some crazy European drug I've never heard of to decide (out of the blue) to adjust this class with all the other REALLY EASY bugs left untouched... ie: Varanas Bridge Portal.

4. Ida know, I give up...I could list so many things. It's just not worth it. I keep playing hoping every week when the patch/server maintenance. comes out that maybe 1. Just 1 thing will get fixed. 1 thing in 1 week. sigh... I would be happy with a patch that is only 1mb long just to fix the Varanas portal. It would show that you guys are working on things... It would show US (The Players) that you care about the game and it's clientele. Maybe even talk in the forums...Besides editing and banning and blocking posts... Maybe say something. Speak. You have a voice...Use it. We'd like to hear it. Good or Bad. It would be more then welcome. We are people just like you. Try to take that into consideration. On that note...

/end rant

Imma go crawl back in the hole I was in. Seems as though that's where they think we live. :)

Iffn no one hast figured out yet from first the "Mighty shield" patch, an now the warden adjustments, Runewaker obviously thinketh that tankin should be harder than tis. Since priests got "adjusted" by em already, me now awaits their realization that DPS tis too easy, an they nerf damage ingame across the board (or add a longer GCD).

They are going to nerf/buff classes. My only issue with this was they knew before they even patched it that they screwed Wardens and STILL went ahead with the patch. Idk, just seems somehow irresponsible to do that. I mean, obviously everyone knew that "next week it'll be fixed" was a load of crap, so that doesn't really bother me too much.

This is not a bug. This is fully intended for the game now. Questing through Silverspring, the teleport points she gives are the only 3 you ever need. For a new player, it is a lot less intimidating seeing those three points instead of the huge list it used to be before. However, I think this needs to be level capped, so at a certain level all the teleport points become open.

2. The Constellation Pets - ...Im not even going to go there.
What aren't you going to go there about? Aside from the 2% and 3% to attributes not working (which are severely crappy buffs anyways, so I'm not sure why anyone chose them in the first place), the pets themselves work great and it's cool to get the pet of your sign and work on it to make it legendary. Love mine!

3. The Wardens - Who was bored? Someone higher up must have taken some crazy European drug I've never heard of to decide (out of the blue) to adjust this class with all the other REALLY EASY bugs left untouched... ie: Varanas Bridge Portal.
This I agree with. I have no idea why they messed with the Wardens, at all, yet again. They were working just fine; they weren't severely OP, they weren't useless like before...they were just good. But in this game you can only be OP or suck so bad no one plays your combination...if there happens to be a good combination, as we have seen, Runewaker whacks that.

Negative. The mailbox and AH are very needed while questing. Dont see those in West or class hall....Add Central get rid of the other two IMO.

No, the new player should not be worrying about the AH until at least lvl 30 if that. And mailbox, really only if they are an alt or a member of a helpful guild. Eye of wisdom hall however......

Ummm wut? O.o The varanas bridge teleport was just fine with the list it had before. There is no loss in having all transports open, there is only benefit. The current list of ~3 has more negative consequences than benefits. If it's intentional, it was a poor decision. If it's not intentional, it should be fixed.
Also... "a lot less intimidating"... >_>; Yes, I suppose for the players who have an IQ of 20, a list would be "intimidating." Let's not treat players as if they are little children or complete idiots (although I'm sure someone could make a strong argument ><).

As for the Wardens... I'm waiting to see what changes will be made even though it's taking forever. Frogster probably shouldn't have approved the nerf patch from the beginning, especially when they recognized that it wasn't a quality patch as they were passing it. However, if they've now learned from that error and have decided to delay fixes until they are worth the patching process, then good on them. Of course, I am anxious to see the warden tanks regain their glory, but at the same time, I'd hate to rush the process and end up with just another crap patch. If they didn't get it right the first time, then yes they should spend the time to get it right the second time. ...And here's to hoping that they will get it right. X_X;;;

Some quests require items made from crafting, while sure you could level up all your crafting skills, at that level it's stupid to when you could buy it off the auction house and just continue questing.

Usually, I don't disagree. But I'm going to have to here.

I remember what happened right after "the mighty suck". It was followed by "Ooops, we made the game unplayable for everyone by adding a one second gcd to caster skills".

Even the melee couldn't get through the instances, because the healers couldn't heal fast enough to keep them up. Let alone the mage rage. Good god, the rage...

There is a difference between paying through the nose to have a character that is a beast dps class, and not being able to do any damage at all thanks to a formula tweak. The GCD killed EVERYONE's ability to run.

Kids... just say no to GCD. We do not need 4.0.5, round two.
In a world of black, white, and grey... I'd be bright friggin' purple. M/P on Reni.

Then why does every newbie zone come with an AH and mail box and have quests running you through their uses at lvl 1?

The change wasn't in any patch notes that I remember. Proof, or I still say it's a bug, and should be treated as such. Just because you don't mind the change doesn't mean it was intentional.

And why exactly are new players too stupid to read a list? Do you grow smarter and more literate over time while playing a game? 'Cause I'm thinking not.

Because they are important functions of the game that you will use when you become a higher level, but not before your level 30. What are you gonna use the AH for before level 30? You gonna sell your lvl 14 sword? Or you gonna buy something with your 45 k gold that you've saved up from quests? And who are you going to get mail from before level 30? Just because you learn what the ah and mailbox does at lvl 1 doesn't mean you'll be using them at that time.
