What are warriors for?

what was the design plan for warriors meant for whats thier calling , and our dps is unpredictable at times. not to mention the obvious weakness's in siege (rage mechanics). does the class exist just to give mages berserk lol or does it have a defined role? not like we can tank that well since we can be squishy . (with the exception of w/k becuase /k can is pro for any melee) i think we need more appealing skills and rage at earlier lvls so its less discouraging for new players to continue the class

... W/wdn is the best PvE dps at the moment. W/R is also very amazing dps. Warriors are a dps class, and they're very good at it if played correctly.

End game warriors are beastmode. Warrior can also be an off tank which is needed in some instances. Whatever their charge skill is OP in siege, nothing stops it, Flames, fot's, etc. I have never liked the rage system myself, but i havent used it much, so i cant give any tips on that.

Warriors are fine, user error is the case here.

Your guild can do VN, get the cape and you have 3 other options for rage generation at a start of a fight or for quick rage in pvp. If you aren't getting positive results from any of the 2 options you have for your warrior main, then I think you aren't doing something right.

PvP warrior/anything, they are either going to die in 1 hit or kill you in 1 hit. Survivability is solely determined on skill in pvp (unless you have a healer right next to you). Just because some classes only use 1 skill to kill you, doesn't mean you can't use the array of skills you have to kill them.

Again, warriors are fine. Problem isn't with the class.

Like the above posts said, Warriors are DPS. It can be both sustained/burst melee dps. although only w/k can offtank. w/m on the other hand are melee magic DPS.

PS: the real question is rather "What are champions for" as in why create champions when there is already a tank(Knight's and Warden/Warrior<---was tank) and melee dps (Warriors/Rogues/Wardens). Really dunno what made RW think of the champion class...

Yup, w/wdn pretty much made me want to quit when ch4 was released (was s/m then). DPS so insane in PvE, really made it not worth going to instances to do my small % compared to them.

As Charged Chop stands currently, W/Wdn is the best DPS class in the game. In burst no other combo comes close, if sustain, R/Wdn begins to catch up.

Warriors are great in siege. W/R's run a whole 15% faster than other classes with equal speed buffs.
And in PVE, you probably can't tank as well as before but now you are a viable dps as a W/ward...

Oh not to mention some 266k hp warrior/knight I had to go against one knight in siege. He was hard to kill - I didn't even bother going for him. I just went for the 40k clothies.

W/Wdn's were never tanks. Wdn/W was. W/Wdn was always viable DPS. They are insanely OP now.

So you're saying that the majority of people that play this game have no skill? Because they simply don't play war primary? Especially in a game where ppl flock to the OP class?

Yeah warriors are dps... but as far as being top? I dunno bout that..I dont see everyone re-rolling war and there's a reason for that.

What Borella is saying is true. Warrior is the hardest class to play. I've played R/S, R/K, W/R, W/Wdn, K/S, K/R, M/W, W/M, M/Wdn, R/W, Wdn/S. W/x (except for W/M) and R/W were the hardest. Rage management + Cooldowns are much more difficult to manage. Energy is easy, Scouts rarely use focus so it's just managing cooldowns. Mages will never run out of mana unless the fight goes on too long, or boss sucks away mana. W/Wdn and W/R were on par with R/S so it's not that it sucks, you just need to play it right. But after this recent patch it put W/Wdn over the top and IS the best DPS class at the moment, after the new Warden fixes, we'll see what happens.

Ya, I like mages in PvP too. Majority of players don't have M.Def and knocking them down from distance is pro. T-storm is amazing for taking out towers in siege. BTW when dueling a warrior just walk up to them. We need to be at least 80 distance away to use Surprise Attack.
